Does anyone have experience with Thermory for decking or other applications?
A friend is contemplating a deck project and two contractors have suggested it as an alternative to Ipe. He prefers to use tried-and-true products, and would love to learn more before seriously considering it. More from their site: http://www.thermoryusa.com/

Sorry, I have never heard of it. Ipe is very nice, but a bit expensive. Keep in mind, sometimes you get what you pay for.

Yes, we almost use Thermory exclusively now. The product is amazing and I really cant think of any negatives as opposed to Ipe that shrinks and is super heavy. We just used Thermory on our own home.
