Meet Ted Fleming, Lead Carpenter: I am 35 years old and have worked in the construction industry for over 20 years. I began painting high-end homes working summers at the age of 10 for my older brother. I believe that beginning my career this way, seeing how quality-built homes are supposed to look when completed, was a good influence when I began to work in other areas of construction. Knowing what it takes to make a project look spectacular when I reach the paint stage demands that I give attention to every detail in every stage leading up to the end product. Being a part of the ALH team challenges me to continually look for areas to improve, which has been my goal for the past 20 years. I live in the small town of Pleasant Hill, where I enjoy raising my family of 3 young children alongside my wife of 11 years. I owned my own small remodeling company for ten years, but since the fall of 2010 I have enjoyed being a part of ALH. I completed the NARI certification class for lead carpenters in May of 2008. The continuing education required to maintain that certification keeps me up-to-date on the latest building codes and techniques, which directly benefits the clients I work with. I have also learned through instruction and experience that communication and customer service are top priority. This philosophy is what forms the basis of ALH, making it a pleasure to work alongside the other team members. We all look forward to working with you.
