The salesman was great. They came out and installed our roof on time, but the roof installation wasn't properly done. The edge of the roof wasn't firmly attached and can be lifted up 6-10 inches. This wasn't a good installation. I had to have several discussions with the salesman. He said they would put a nail or two in it instead of using glue. That's not proper. His manager called and told me that it was normal. He finally agreed to send someone out to repair it. They called to schedule it. They seemed to be on top of things, but couldn't provide a timeframe. That day came and went and I didn't get a phone call. My roof is still unrepaired. They have our money and we have no leverage. They are taking their sweet time to repair our roof.

I live in a condo, and this was the approved roofer. We all signed up for him to get the group discount. He helped me before with a gutter leak. We thought it was solved, but we were told we could find someone else for roofing, but we never followed through. There are nails breaking through the wood when I was pulling up to the roof. I have never seen a nail before or had a problem with the roof. Someone hit my garage, and it had to be repaired because the roof fell. I had new wood there, and there were no holes when they fixed it then. We had to pay as soon as the work was done, and he said we had to give the payment to the supervisor when he comes for the inspection. I get a phone call later the next week that I never paid but I never had the inspection done. The salesperson came back, but he said he was not going to do the inspection. It looks great, but everyone has holes, and the wood is splitting. The wood has never been great here, and we've had to replace it before.

They were very professional, especially when it came to getting my insurance company to do the work. I was in a bad situation after a tornado, and they showed up and worked with me. I couldn't be more thankful for them.

I was very, very, very pleased with the workmanship and the workers themselves. They would show up at like 7 or 7:30 in the morning and wouldn't leave until at least 5, sometimes 6 or 7 in the evening. They were trying to get it done before there was any foul weather. I was very pleased with them. Their attitude and workmanship were the reasons for my five-star rating. The only downside I had with Tim Leeper Roofing was with the gentleman we signed the contract with and came to collect the final payment. I didn't really care too much for his attitude. If I wasn't recommending Tim Leeper Roofing, it would likely be because of that individual. He was very indifferent to the completion of the work. I did point out one area to him where a shingle was being held up by something. He said it was just the rain guard, which was true, but it's because the rain guard wasn't put back on the gutter properly. He didn't do anything about it before leaving. I didn't care for him. I was glad Tim Leeper Roofing was able to work with another company we had working inside the house to take care of the damage from the roof leak. They were taking care of some stuff that caused them to cut into the roof from above to take care of the problem below. Tim Leeper Roofing's people worked well with the contracting company, so the only downside, to me, was the business manager and his attitude and indifference toward the problem. I haven't been able to get up there and correct it yet. It's not a big issue, but I thought he would have been more concerned. The price went up to $3000 when we had a delay, but we heard a lot about Tim Leeper Roofing, so it wasn't a big issue. The crew and the supervisor worked well together. They had the right number of people there from the beginning. They seemed to work well together. There was no cussing and no complaints between the workers.

Tim Leeper Roofing had to come back out three times in order to get the job halfway right. They had to tear off about a third to half of my roof after they had already laid it, as they did not lay the right underlayment. They did not nail down the attic vents and just covered them with shingles. The drip edge was missing in places, and Tim Leeper Roofing provided shabby workmanship.

There was a mistake made with the insurance stuff and Tim Leeper roofing offered the make up the difference. It all worked out in the end, but they were willing to eat the cost to make us happy.

We were hit by a tornado in December last year. We called them at 4:30 AM and woke the guy up. He had a full crew on our roof at 8:00 AM. He put down plywood so he had something to put a tarp over. We appreciated that. We were the first ones in our neighborhood to have anything done to our house.
