**Installs may be delayed due to manufacturers being short-staffed and producing less volume of products. **
The church hired Unified to complete two projects. The staff was very professional and courteous. We were kept in the loop in regards to the installation schedule and availability of the materials needed to complete the job. The final job was outstanding.
The order took longer than anticipated. However, whenever I called to check on the status they always called back quickly to give an update.
Very Professional, kept me informed of progress all day
I was not happy with the craftmanship of the installers, if I wasn't there watching them it would not have come out acceptable!
My family and friends who are considering upgrading.
The workers was always on time. I had a new roof, windows, siding & stone work. The job was completed with no problems. They did an amazing job.

Work was done quickly and clean up Was done well.
I’m very happy and satisfied with the job
Unified kept their appointment, worked efficiently, effectively, and cleaned thoroughly upon completion.
Excellent work start to finish
It would be hard to recommend a company that did not honor a signed contract and being misled by a salesman. Communication was another issue. All the issues from the signing of the contract to the installation of the windows left us disappointed. We were very understanding due to delays with the COVID pandemic, but there were more negatives than positives with this sale.
Product and installation were excellent. However, called the store in Scarsdale several times to inquire about delivery and each time was told someone would call me back in 24-48 hours, and nobody returned my calls. Had to email the CEO to get satisfaction.
I am pleased with the quality of the windows and storm doors I purchased. The waiting for delivery and installation was frustrating. If I order anything again, I’d be prepared not to have the items installed when promised.
The price for the quality of the door is great. I've used Unified three times now, twice for doors and once for windows. They've done a good job on the doors, and when the windows cracked a few weeks after installation they came out and replaced them at no cost or delay.
We signed for a job at the end of February for a garage door, 2 outside doors and a storm door. We were given what was apparently an unrealistic estimated time of completion by the salesman, because it was later advised to be much (months) later by the office. CV was the reason for the delay and the inability to get parts for the doors. By August, only the garage door has been installed. There was still a delay for the doors. Sure they let me cancel, but we should have been given this option in May or June!! Not August! Now I found a local company, which I should've gone with originally, they make the doors right on Long Island, have all the parts in house, but I'm still a standard 10 weeks out. So the new doors won't be installed till October. Realistic estimates need to be provided to the customer. If the supplier/factory can't give an honest estimate, then Unified needs to find another supplier.
Very bad customer service. Phone calls take for ever to be answered. When answered, the receptionist Daniella was very rude and unprofessional. The Initial assessment of the place to install my new patio door was not thorough. This company caused me extra $2000 to put back my demolished wall and window.
Two men spent most of the day installing four porch windows, they had to plumb and level each one, none were an easy fit. They managed to fill all the gaps, then trimmed each one inside and outside to make them look good. They were very professional and worked well together. When they finished they removed all debris and cleaned inside and outside the porch.
Pleasant, accommodating, reasonable, professional.
Conor the salesman was great. He explained everything. The guys who installed the windows did a great job.
And cleaned up well. And the price for both windows was less than one Anderson window.
We were very happy with all aspects of Unified.
Installer was knowledgeable; flexibility when unforseen issue arose with current doorway before installation of new; neat & efficient
After signing our contract for replacing all 26 windows in our home in February – Unified call at the end of June to schedule our installation for 7/14 and 7/15. When signing the contract Mike said the installation could probably be done in a day but Danielle called to let us know they would need 2. Our 2 installers Earl and Mr. Ortiz were fantastic but they let us know 1 of our large picture windows in the front was not in the truck and they would come tomorrow with it while finishing up the job. On 7/15 they arrive and let us know the large picture window was being delivered directly to the house between 10-12. The window pane does not show up. The installers let us know they would be back again on 7/16 with the window pane along with our laundry room window that was also missing. On 7/16 they arrive with no windows and are there to cork and trim the outside, and said they would have to come back next week. I called Unified’s office to see what was going on. Danielle informed me she was out of the office when the windows were delivered and the 2 windows missing was not noticed till the day of installation. The front of my house was unsightly with the trim around my large window off and wood exposed. When asked to speak to a manager about why the job was started with not all the windows in hand – Danielle informed me no manager was around and was sorry. When asked when the windows would be installed she did not know as they have not heard from the manufacturer and she could not give me and answer till Monday (7/19). I asked for someone to give me a call before the end of the day and she couldn’t guarantee it. Unsatisfied, I called back and spoke to a very rude chief of something, Vish. Vish couldn’t have been more rude and unhelpful. He kept interrupting me when I was questioning him as to why the job was started with not all the windows and he was very loud in telling me he has customers begging him to come and start a job and I shouldn’t be complaining about missing 2 windows. Very loudly telling me I do not understand what he’s saying. He kept interrupting me when I asked why he didn’t have a date for when the rest of my windows would arrive. If it was noticed on Wednesday that 2 windows were missing and you still didn’t have answer by Friday – it just shows me you could care less about your customer’s satisfaction. Vish said to me you can’t make everyone happy. I informed him that I had to make arrangements for child and dog care while this installation has been going on, along with my husband taking off an extra unplanned day and need to know when this project would be finished. He started questioning why I would need all these things (child care, dog care and days off work) for 2 windows. Not that it’s any of his business but my toddler or dog should not be in the home when 2 men are working with potentially harmful equipment. What was supposed to be 2 days of an expected home improvement mess turned into 10 days of an unexpected ugly mess in the front of my home with no answers as to when the remaining windows were going to be installed until the day before of the final installation which was 7/23. His response was you’re doing work on your home it’s going to be a mess. After 7/16 I never received a phone call from Unified again it was all me calling them to find out updates. They started calling my house number which they never have done in the past. They had my cell number and have called with every other update on my cell and after the incident with Vish is when they started to call the house number which is not a good number at all because we work and no one is home. If no one answers the house wouldn’t you call the cell?
It should have been brought to my attention all the windows were not in and not been given the run around. I would have delayed the project another week if it meant the front of my home didn’t look like a construction zone but was not given the opportunity to do so. And when I expressed my dissatisfaction with the way things were handled I was met with a very rude Vish. I’ve had home improvements done and have never met a more unhappy, miserable man. I have used Unified in the past and was extremely satisfied but this man alone is enough reason to never use Unified again. And enough reason to let everyone know the horrible experience I’ve had this time around. Mike was a pleasure along with Jim who came to measure the windows and the installers Earl and Mr. Ortiz were amazing! Unified need to find better customer service – it is atrocious, specifically Vish.
wrong door installed, missing parts, still waiting to be corrected
communication is horrendous
very professional people. were nice and timely. Liked what they did.
Installer was very professional, well organized and completed his tasks to our satisfaction quickly.
GuildQuality partners with it's member companies to survey their customers and collect detailed feedback on their behalf. By administrating surveys as an unbiased third party we ensure that customers have the oppurtunity to express their true feelings about a project and that members get the most accurate and detailed feedback possible.
When a survey contains the "Review" question, that customer's answer will show up on the member's profile page as a public review. Members have the option to turn off reviews but cannot hide individual reviews. It's all or nothing. This means that any reviews you see on a GuildQuality profile page are real comments left by the customer and verified by GuildQuality.
Each item listed under "Customer satisfaction" represents a specific question asked by GuildQuality to customers of Unified Home Remodeling as part of our survey process. The bar graph and percentage next to the question stand for the percentage of respondents that were "Satisfied" about that particular question.
A customer is considered satisfied about about a question if they answered with 4 or more stars out of 5. For example if the "Communication" question is at 95% satisfaction that means that 95% of survey respondents answered that question with 4 or more stars out of 5 possible stars.More about surveys
