It was a very high quality product. The installation went smoothly. The contractor was neat, orderly, and helpful.
We are happy with the shower. It is very nice.
I like the product and the ease of getting it in with trying to make sure our needs were accommodated!
I like it. I think the technician was very good that installed it. I think his name was Elton. I was pleased with the technician that put it in.
I am happy with the quality of the bathtub.
I am very pleased with the installation process and the functionality of my tub. I absolutely love it.
People on fixed income, it is worth the money.
I have been recommending this tub to friends, family members, and coworkers. Most of them are envious and hope to get an American Standard walk-in tub in the distant future when their finances allow it.
It started with the salesman selling us a package for a safety shower (with an upgraded seat) that wasn't suppose to be sold together. He even got the ok to sell it from his manager. This was on January 11, 2021. We got an installation date of February 8th. Installation guy came. ONLY 1 GUY TO DO THIS JOB CAME. (he was great by the way). Was told by the installation guy on 2/8/21 that we needed to have a pipe and dryer vent rerouted by a plumber before he can continue. We did that, and had it fixed within 24 hours. Because there is only 1 installation guy for this entire state he couldn't come back for a week or 2. When he did finally came back to installed the shower, he put the seat in and that's when we noticed it wasn't the upgraded seat we were told we were getting and was wrote on the contract we signed. So, here we are, days again before we get an answer that they had to special order a whole new shower to be installed. The installation guy finally came and installed the whole new shower on 3/6/21, meaning he had to dismantle what he had already put in and put a whole new shower in. His caulking work was terrible. IN THE MIDDLE OF ALL OF THIS I CALLED AMERICAN STANDARD AND TALKED TO A CJ....HE WAS THE RUDEST PERSON EVER. We have pictures. After complaining and sending pictures, he came back out and made the shower look better with better caulking work. Marcello who was the one installation guy was great. Needless to say we finally got a finish product on 3/26/21. And to top it off, with all of the aggravation and stress with living without a shower for almost 2 months they only discounted the price by $600!! Which is pathetic considering this shower was $11,000.
They came and anything that needed to be done, they did whatever work around that was needed to ensure the installation was just right!
Thoroughly satisfied with the knowledge and quality of the workmanship as well as the product.
(Ms. Long states she has a memory problem can answer questions to the best of her ability)
The quality of the work was not very good. They had to come back and redo grout and tighten the connection of the shower head. The shower head is still loose and when the water is turned on, the fixture leaks and is misdirected. I have called several times and have not been able to get someone else to come out yet. I have had no return calls.
My shower looks magnificent.
American Standard is as advertised.
It performs perfect and I really like it.
The tub is great and the installation was so-so.
The tub has really been a game-changer for my mother.
It's a very expensive tub to be put in. It doesn't look like I spent $20,000 on a bathroom. At the time, my knees were hurting so bad, I just wanted something to soak my knees in, and I went with the first person. I don't think that the tub and the system is worth $20,000.
They did what they said and did a good job.
Nice tub, works fine..... However, just way, way, way, too expensive.
I would not recommend American Standard to anyone. The installation crew that came out stole items from us. I want nothing to do with this company.
They did an excellent job.
I would not want anyone else to go thru the headache this poorly designed tub has caused , or to possibly be injured getting in or out of something that needs a step added to on the outside because it is too high above floor level for a disabled person in a wheelchair to deal with safely . Assisted bathing is difficult to say the least , or not possible at all.
GuildQuality partners with it's member companies to survey their customers and collect detailed feedback on their behalf. By administrating surveys as an unbiased third party we ensure that customers have the oppurtunity to express their true feelings about a project and that members get the most accurate and detailed feedback possible.
When a survey contains the "Review" question, that customer's answer will show up on the member's profile page as a public review. Members have the option to turn off reviews but cannot hide individual reviews. It's all or nothing. This means that any reviews you see on a GuildQuality profile page are real comments left by the customer and verified by GuildQuality.
Each item listed under "Customer satisfaction" represents a specific question asked by GuildQuality to customers of American Standard Walk-In Tubs as part of our survey process. The bar graph and percentage next to the question stand for the percentage of respondents that were "Satisfied" about that particular question.
A customer is considered satisfied about about a question if they answered with 4 or more stars out of 5. For example if the "Communication" question is at 95% satisfaction that means that 95% of survey respondents answered that question with 4 or more stars out of 5 possible stars.More about surveys
