Whereas I am thus far quite satisfied with the quality of the work that was done on my Walk-in Shower, I am still greatly dis-satisfied with the, length of time it took to even get the project started, not to mention the multiple instances of missed appoi tments and other delays. While I was able to contact American Standard for updates and rescheduling matters, overall it was a bit overwhelming and stressful process. I chose American Standard because of their reputation for quality in their work. There were times that I didn't feel that standard had been met.

The installation went well. They were very professional. But there was a mix up on where my outlet for my bedau was to go. I didn't reliaze it wasn't installed in my bathroom until a couple of days later. I've reached out to the company and I haven't gotten any results. I also texted the installer. Noone has done anything but make notes.

The people you finance through is terrible at 10%. That is ridiculous but I paid off the shower early.

We had a problem with water not draining so I called they said we will get ahold of the contractor and he will call us so no call, now I will have to call again

Some cheap “order from Amazon” parts $3000 kit with $14000 install cost.

It took a month for them to finish and it still is not to my satisfaction.

The porcelain they use is of very good quality, and nothing sticks to it. It's easy to keep clean.

I’m disappointed that, for the money I paid, the job wasn’t completed. They built a wall but didn’t do the finishing work. When they installed it, I was told I’d have to get someone else to do the finishing—they just put up the wall. I would need to hire a painter to prime and paint everything. For all the money I paid, I expected to walk into a finished bathroom, not an unfinished job.

The job American Standard did was pretty good, but they did leave some unfinished details, and they haven't shown up when I compla.

HOWEVER, I was supposed to get a toilet and I’m still waiting. I have had no contact from anyone. The one you brought did not fit in the space. I told the salesman and the contractor that the space was limited and the size would have to be measured precisely. They said no problem. Well it didn’t fit. Thankfully I kept my old one. It would be nice if someone filled through on this.

Installation was done very professionally. Everyone we showed the shower too is very impressed. The Inshallah was great. He had to come back because the shelf that we bought wouldn’t fit and elected to have two additional corner shelves installed. When I called him, he answered and made a special trip a week later.

First, the person who installed our shower requested to come on a Friday rather than Thursday. Therefore, we had the weekend with the unfinished shower. The biggest problem is that the panels were cut wrong. This resulted in a horizontal seam at the 4' level rather than at the 7' level as the salesman showed in pictures. The beading to cover the panels is therefore low enough that the water is now hitting this area. The calking that was used was applied very sloppily ....I had to scrape the walls/panels. The one piece of the beading was bowed and that resulted with a hole at the corner, where the 2 pieces of the beading joined. I'm sure in time this will result in a buildup of mold! The mitered corners around the window -- 3 of the 4 do not match up. The curtain rod that was installed was approximately 2" outside of the shower....we needed to purchase another shower curtain! Lastly, we were to have 2 corner baskets installed. Have not received them yet. Our installer told us that he would order them and have them sent to our address.

The installation initially was wrong. Water leaked off the bottom ..it was put in backwards. 2 weeks later it was fixed. We couldn't use the shower in the meantime. The dual shower heads are a complete joke. It reduced the water pressure considerably. Not acceptable. The drywall on the shower end was shoddy and I was told by the installer I Had to finish it myself, they said if I had bought the deluxe version kit they would have included a matching piece that would have complimented the shower stall. Also the caulking they did should have been smooth ed evenly. I want the above issues taken care of. After spending 17 thousand dollars I expected a complete job that looks professionally done. You can make it happen and give me a walk in shower that I can be proud to have and tell my family and friends.

The installer was wonderful and did an amazing job! We love the shower!!!

The job still isn’t finished. No one told us that you would have to put a curtain rod and curtain up or water would run all over the floor from the shower. We are just waiting for a technician to be able to come and put up a curtain rod and curtain for us to use. For that amount of money, I was a bit disappointed.

I'm perfectly satisfied with American Standard's product.

We were misinformed and misrepresented during the sale about the use of the tub.

I don't like wall material. But that's me. I do not like all the caulk.It peels, it stains, it looses its grip. Mold gets in it.

There were a lot of delays to really startng the project that possibly could have been avoided. The project started a month later than expected.

I would recommend American Standard based on the excellent material choices available from which to choose.
