Our experience with Raymus homes was mostly good. There are a few things that we didn't expect, as well as some features that we did not realize that we were getting. I would say that the third-party contractors that they have could be better, though.
I want to extend my sincere appreciation for the outstanding experience I’ve had throughout the homebuilding process. The construction quality has been exceptional—every detail reflects a high standard of craftsmanship and care.
Raymus team’s responsiveness to issues was consistently timely and effective, which made a significant difference in keeping the process smooth and stress-free. I also want to commend for delivering the home right on schedule, which speaks volumes about l professionalism and commitment.
A special thanks to Amy, whose support during the entire purchase process was invaluable. Her clear communication, proactive updates, and genuine care made the journey not only efficient but also enjoyable.
Maybe it's a bad time for houses, but the quality doesn't match the price.
It was tricky to navigate everything as a first time home buyer and if I didn’t ask, things weren’t told to me. I like the layout of the house though. There weren’t very many incentives, but a 4 bedroom one story was what I wanted.
My Experience in raymus in good, but few place where raymus homes improvises is providing proper lenders suggestion and provide proper sales information.
I would recommend Raymus Homes; they are very good.
I would think to suggest because of the experience we had during the process. It was not pleasant for us.
The problem is, they won't provide any offers. I had three issues with them. They messed up my elevation. When I was signing for the home, it was supposed to be an elevation of A. They gave me an elevation of C instead. They also messed up one of my upgrades that I had chosen.
I would recommend Raymus Homes; they did a good job.
Still the best builder in Manteca, just getting cheap like other builders because money is more important than quality now.
Loreen and the teams are the best. It feels like buying a house from the family. They make you seem comfortable and guide you through the process.
Over all the house is a very beautiful structure. The stone on the house is gorgeous and the masonry men cared and knew what they were doing! But a lot of the house was not finished off with care and respect. There's a lot of paint and caulking everywhere. Scratches and dings also everywhere. Paint on just about every hinge and door handle as well as on the flooring. The threshold is very scratched and full of paint as well. The doorbell has never worked. The cabinetry also had some paint and caulking on it and there are two doors that rub together and to many mistakes with holes inside of cabinets. All the doors slam wide open banging on everything. They also slam shut which I would expect with no soft close, although a mistake was made and we do have two doors that soft close, kind of silly to have only two. It just makes you wonder why a cabinet Co that has been in the business for decades isn't more perfected.. especially when you are paying for upgraded cabinets, not that anyone's shouldn't be in great condition. The mistakes are visible unless you choose to look past them in which Barbosa chooses to do, instead of choosing craftmanship which you would think you would get in your brand new home that you paid a lot of money for. I'm not trying to be ungrateful for the hard work that went into this home, I'm just being very honest so you know what's going on and I'm sure you want honesty anyways. I'm guessing the workers get sloppy rushing along but if they took time to care more it would save the new home buyer a lot of time and heartache because I'm spending more time cleaning and fixing things than unpacking. I shouldn't have to pay more money to fix things that should be right in the first place, but I do not want these same people back in my house who caused these issues to begin with. I will reach out for some repairs but some I know I'm on my own to do. Now I would of recommended you 21 years ago and I did with my first Raymus home, to one friend and one coworker who actually did buy one of your homes thru my recommendation, but today I wouldn't get involved with recommending any builder because today isn't what it was 20+ yrs ago when buying a new home and the care was there from the workers. I'm not saying hard work didn't go into it I'm just saying the level of care isn't there anymore. I don't hold no grudges, times have changed and so have people. I know its hard on the builders because they want their homes top notch just like the buyer wants it but unfortunately not to much is today. And no matter how honest I am here I do appreciate this home and the beauty it beholds. It might take some extra time to make it more homey but it will be a home loved. Thank you.
I am fully satisfied with my build.
The salesman did a great job keeping us informed and giving us all the information we needed regarding the home we purchased.
Very happy with our purchase, start to finish! The whole Raymus Homes Team was very informative and helpful through the process.
Raymus Homes bent over backwards to get me into my house. They really went out of their way to help me out. I couldn't have asked for better.
They were very friendly and helpful.
Good quality!
When it comes to taking care of problems that we have, they were not very good at responding quickly when we needed some kind of fix inside the house. They don't respond as quickly as they should. As far as quality is concerned, I don't have any problems with the quality of the house. It's just that problems arise here and there, and usually it takes a very long time for them to respond when we complain about something.
Raymus Homes was very easy to work with and transparent.
Built quality not as expected, upstairs windows rattle even in slightest wind
Absolutely! None better than Raymus Homes!
Great floor plans.
Love our new home. From start to finish, it's been an incredible experience. Outstanding communication, customer service, and, of course, the home is everything we could have dreamed of!
Raymus rose to the occasion through Covid, supply chain issues, PG&E issues and everything else that came along to give us the best homebuying experience we've ever had.
