We had OC came and estimated our project in the end of 2015. The first salesman gave us a really "un-affordable" price for the project, then Dana came & proposed with a reasonable price. I hope they have a breakdown of how much the wall cost, ceiling cost and floor as well. We didn't do the rug, we went with the wood look choice and it's amazing. We didn't have our basement done until 2 years later since we realized OC will only do the installation of the wall, ceiling, floor. They won't do anything with the waterproofing/water prevention and other structural work if you need so we pretty much did it on our own. We appreciate OC's patience and willing to wait for us without altering the project price. Then early Oct 2017 that's when we had our new boiler moved, new stairs, new windows..OC came in and started the project. The only crew they have is Dave, he is an amazing worker, we were surprised that there would be more people to help him but he's the main guy, he came in on time everyday for 2 weeks, focused, paid attention to detail and completed the project within 2 weeks. There were some minor tweaks that we wanted him to do and he was very happy to accommodate our requests. I wanted to wait till the winter is over and then will examine all the OC material again to see how it last after one season. It is pricey but hey you get what you paid for. I like the material they have a lot, it's proprietary, very organically and doesn't make my basement smell at all. I hope it will last for a lifetime. Overall, great experience with OC. It was great to have our basement makeover accomplished in just 3 weeks. We were satisfied with the work and are really enjoying the new space. We wish the project manager had been more available for answering questions, problem-solving, and scheduling outside services (electrician, plumber), but the crew handled everything well.

I am deeply happy with my choice of Owens Corning for my basement finishing project. They were professional, helpful and went out of their way to make sure I got what I needed out of the project. Should anyone I know decide to finish a basement, I will absolutely be recommending Owens Corning.

Once they started things went very smoothly. They worked hard everyday. The crew and supervisor were great to work with.

Do not do business with Owens Corning Basement Finishing System.

We are still waiting for two small issues to be resolved to have a finished system. People should plan on doing any mold or dampness remediation before the Owens Corning people come, and not "wait and see" as the Owens Corning contractor recommended. This caused significant delays due. We were not happy with the work done by the electrician and his team. They ignored the design plan, putting lights and outlets where they wanted. Some things had to be redone, and we still have a problem with other GF outlets because of their connections. The installation team were amazing and extremely helpful.

All personnel were very professional, knowledgeable and skilled. Any questions or concerns were responded to quickly. The completed project surpassed all my expectations.

They were a real pleasure to work with. In the middle of installation we asked for a few modifications to be made, they did not complain, there was no delay and they did it the next day. They were communicative, professional and I could not recommend them more.

The material is very good and I like the concept very much. I think they need to make sure everything is scheduled properly. The basement came out nice.

As we all know finding a company to take on a project can be difficult and stressful. Well worry no more. I can tell you first hand that I had such a wonderful experience with them from the first call I made to them until the end of our project. John my sales rep was amazing. He helped work with me and my husband to make a basement that we would enjoy forever. His knowledge and Ideas were great, he checked in on us every week to make sure things were going as we wanted. Dave, who did all of the work on my entire basement was so professional, he paid attention to detail and was a perfectionist. We were also open to any of Dave's ideas to make the basement look great and it was a great partnership for us all. Ed the project manager pulled the permit and helped with all of the materials we needed to make our basement look beautiful. What I liked most about them was that no matter what we asked which was not really a lot, they said yes, no problem we will take care of it. They always made sure that they took care of it and we never had to wait. A suggestion that I do have that helped our project move along even better and on time is that my husband or I were around if they had any questions or concerns or even recommendations. Our project was ahead of schedule and completed ahead of schedule. John, Dave and Ed thank you for making our basement look so special and it was such a pleasure working with each of you.

Additional Comments - They were great and I couldn't have asked for a better company. They became part of our family and we still talk to them.

The whole process from start to finish was really easy. The installers were really great to work with. They were open to suggestions and changes along the way. We are really happy with the finished product.

They are very professional and all of the staff is very kind.

I regret doing business with this company. The material was good quality but the workmanship of contractors was poor. The price was way overpriced for the job we received. Only regrets.

Over all I am satisfied with the work and the project. The material used is top quality and the fact that their is a lifetime warranty is good. The basement looks very good.

First and foremost we most likely would not have selected Owens Corning if it we not for project manager John Flynn. He was very articulate and knowledgeable about the company production and maintained communication throughout the complete process. John was not overbearing, which we had encountered several years ago with another representative , and he proposed a plan that worked to accommodate us to our complete satisfaction. In our opinion, John's personality and professionalism is invaluable to the company.
