I had put off replacing the roof of my house for quite a while, mainly because I was unable to find a roofing contractor I felt fully confident about. That changed when I heard of Nu Look Home Design and learned about what they offered by attending one of their excellent online webinars. I immediately felt confident in NLHD's knowledge and professionalism. The job was completed on schedule and to my complete satisfaction. The cost may have been somewhat greater than had I gone with one of the other estimates but the quality of materials and workmanship delivered as well as the excellent communication throughout the project and consequent peace of mind I had made that worth it.

The whole crew were all spectacular , Evandre , Clemente , Alex , Kevin & Pew (who was there on Tuesday) they all worked their asses off in the 93 degree heat , they also were personable & professional , polite & courteous , & willing to answer any questions I might have. They were amazing. We have an outdoor cat, so I was nervous about a mess and nails. They took extra care to make sure everything was cleaned up. They protected his house outside. They went above and beyond. The fact that they took the extra time to make sure he stayed safe, was amazing.

YES DID EXCELLENT JOB

No, I will not. I paid for a full roof replacement meaning all old wood would be removed from the wood decking and need plywood would be used. The roof had been leaking for three years and all the old wood contained mold or mold spores. I was grossly overcharged for the work. They took the unused lumber with them when they finished and expected my insurance or me to pay for it. If we were paying for four pieces of plywood, it should have been placed on MY roof. This is a bait and switch operation in my opinion. I was shown a sturdier asphalt shingle when I inquired about the quality. I agreed to the $1500 upgrade for the Duraguard and I received the cheaper grade. I was authorized 129 square feet of new lumber. Approximately 11’x11’ area and received pieces of cut wood equaling maybe one sheet of plywood. Between me and my insurance company the price of $7300 paid for the roofing job is tantamount to theft by overcharging and taking advantage of the elderly as the work being done amounted to cut and paste of new plywood and new shingles which should have cost me about half your cost.

They are respectful and kept me notified.

It was nice to work with one company who could handle both the replacement roofing and removal and re-installation of our current solar panel system.
