I had a great experience working with MJM Restoration. A leaky main stack pipe caused significant water damage and mold growth in my basement. MJM handled the project with the help of contractors. At the start of the project, they explained the process, but I probably did not understand everything that they told me because there were things that happened that did not agree with what I understood should have happened. They estimated the work to be completed in 3 weeks. They were actually done in 2 months, probably because they have other clients whose priorities were higher than ours. They could have easily completed the work in 3 weeks. The employees were courteous. I suffered broken ribs during our stay at the hotel, not their fault nor the hotel. We requested for our recliner to be delivered to the hotel which they failed to do because all their employees were busy with their other projects. I needed the recliner so I could sleep comfortably with my broken ribs.MJM was very helpful in moving our stuffs that we were suppose to move, to make things easier for us.MJM was very accommodating.
Mike and Mike at MJM we’re the epitome of customer service. They came immediately, started the drying out process, explained what they were doing, removed all the wet areas for reconstruction and were on their way. Very professional, knew what they were doing, easy communication.
My problem was serious water damage in my entire basement due to storm drain not functioning (one pipe had a hole in it and another pipe cracked) My basement floor had to be jack-hammered in two different places, plumbing repairs done and then re-cemented. Water damaged walls, paneling, bathroom vanity and all floor tile. Walls were treated and painted; paneling, bathroom vanity and floor tile were replaced. Asbestos was found in old floor tile; tile was removed and disposed of according to law. MJM is a great company!
Mike and his team were extremely professional and easy to work with. We had flood damage in our basement, and weren't really sure how we wanted to refinish the basement flooring. Mike's team was very patient with us in putting multiple quotes together considering a few different options to refinish the basement. Before the work began, he came out and introduced his crew to us, so that we knew who would be working on our house. He explained the timeline and process in detail with how they would conduct the repairs and made sure all of our questions were answered. The crew arrived when they said they would every day and did a great job of refinishing the basement. Overall, they were very professional, and the basement turned out better than we could have expected! After the job was finished, they did a walk through with us to make sure the work was completed to our liking. Very happy with the results, and we would definitely recommend!
