Marvin Replacement - Austin is very professional and easy to work with. I would highly recommend them.
Everyone was perfect
The windows are great. It was easy to work with them, but it was a very long process.
I like Marvin Replacement products, and will definitely recommend them to anyone who is in the market for replacement doors or windows.
Marvin Replacement Windows has created an excellent customer experience from the first contact with the sales staff to the order/finance process to the courteous treatment by the installers in dealing with COVID 19 concerns. The installers did a good job communicating their plans and timeline adjustments and maintaining a safe work environment.
The windows themselves are great but they whistle in the wind. Responsiveness has not been good, especially after I paid them. After 5 months they finally replaced the bottom seal, but that didn’t fix the sides and sash where the whistling is happening. When the wind isn’t blowing I love them but because of the whistling and lack of responsiveness I can’t recommend them.
I was satisfied with their performance.
The product appearance is great and a noticeable improvement to our existing entryway. I do feel that the door should operate (open & close) more smoothly. It seems & sounds clunky and considering the expense it should be quiet & smooth. I don’t mind paying a premium price for a premium product but at this point our new door needs to be adjusted so that it’s operation reflects the quality we expected to receive.
Windows are a gigantic expense. Marvin expends a great deal of expertise and thought into the sales process. At the prices being charged the install should get the same degree of care.
We had an awful experience with the installation!
We like the product a lot. Had a pretty bad experience with the installers we used a few years ago. Would never recommend them. Needed to finish up with the last few windows and saw ads for Marvin Replacement. Process was much better, but we had a few measurement glitches that delayed completion. These guys were much better but still not nearly perfect
Everything was quick, and the windows are beautiful.
I am so completely thrilled with my interaction with Marvin Replacement that I have already recommended them to friends!
Our original installation time was scheduled for 1pm. The installers didn't show up until 4:45pm. We were informed they would work for "about an hour" and return the next day to complete the work. Not ideal, but fine with us since we have an infant at home. At some point without communicating to us, the installers decided to finish out the job in one day rather than return the next day, opting to work in the dark even as we were attempting to get the baby to sleep. I appreciated the thought but they didn't bother communicating with us. The next day I noticed a large scratch on our nice new picture window. Now that has to be replaced. I wonder if it was a manufacturing defect or something that could have been avoided had they not been working in the dark. We went with Marvin because they're supposed to be the best, but this doesn't feel like the best.
A beautiful love ok but very difficult to open and close. Lock is difficult to operate.
The doors are of good quality.
We are very pleased and surprised at the final product.
our installation of four patio doors went poorly. the installation had to be redone completely by a more competent sub-contractor. the whole process took more than two months. we love the doors. they are beautiful and work well except for one thing - three of the four doors are unable to be locked. some adjustment needs to be made so that they can lock. I called our salesman yesterday and asked for help, but after 24 hours have not heard back. this after calling the project manager and got a message that he was not accepting calls at this time. could you please send someone out to fix the problem with our locks?
I am disappointed that the work was contracted. I think Marvin Replacement takes pride in their communication and relationships with customers but I cannot say the same about the men who did the work.
The team at Marivin was excellent. My project manager Jackie identified a structural issue with my rough opening and was very helpful and informative about what I needed to have my contractor fix. The team was very flexible about rescheduling the install once we realized that the opening wasn't ready. Once they did come out to install, they were on time, quick, and did a great job with the install. The window looks fantastic and I am very happy with it.
