I have made recommendations numerous times, and will again, in the right circumstance. I am surprised by the homeowners that hire the cheapest contractor they can find. And, they don’t seem bothered at all with overspray of one color onto another.
I was very pleased with the completed job and the professionalism of Kenneth Axt Painting. Ken showed up for the initial quote (something that didn't happen for the previous 2 painters we had contacted), presented a bid on the spot, and followed up the next day to answer any questions about the bid. After we signed the contract, his office contacted up immediately with available dates. The painting team was punctual and professional. And, the project manager stopped by twice to make sure everything was going according o plan. the quality of the paint job was excellent.

Kenneth Axt Painting has been our preferred supplier for both exterior and interior home improvement jobs. One of the painters was very inexperienced and ruined the engagement. After the first day, we were never confident that we were going to get a quality job. It was a very stressful experience.
I had originally used Kenneth Axt Painting for my first house and they were excellent. I decided to use them again for my second house. I felt the experience with them the second time was not the same. I had sent the office the exact paint colors to use and had provided the foreman a copy of what was sent to the office. Instead, the exterior paint was color matched and did not look like the original. The exterior of my house had to be repainted. I felt like I had to continuously watch the workers to make sure things were done appropriately. The overall workmanship was great, but it was not a smooth process getting there.
The work was done thoroughly and quickly. That was amazing.

Kenneth Axt Painting was extremely professional from day one. On first day of estimate, time was taken, at least a couple hours to thoroughly review all the details of the house and current state, what needed to be fixed like rotten wood, flashing, etc. and prepped PRIOR to painting which was much appreciated. The crew came on time for painting and had at least 8 crew members working on the house. We are very lucky to have found Kenneth Axt and people that care about the QUALITY of their work not just about the bottom line! Their office kept me informed along the way with either emails or even phone calls up to the scheduled start of work to let me. Communication is important!
The workmen were very non-intrusive and polite. The finished product looks great. Th only concern I have is about the wood repairs. They do not look flush with the areas and may fail to shed water properly.

The company is all about luring the customers in. Great website, good, thorough viewing and estimating etc. Once you sign up, you are in the hands of a project manager, who does a poor job and probably should never be asked to deal with customers. He has no oversight and it is all talk. The painters are embarrased to work for the company. Has little experience and clearly knows nothing about how to paint. No priming, no sanding - only loosely scrabing, painting doors without opening them etc etc. The list goes on.
