Very easy to work with and everyone is friendly and keep you up today on the process.
The project was completed in seven hours.
Finished product. Cleaned up everything when they finished.
I am still waiting to be contacted about my experience and the discount due to all of the issues. See messages I have sent below:

to jmclucas, Titus, me
Hello James,
I am writing to follow up on the service I received from Renuity. First, I would like to acknowledge the efforts made to resolve this matter. In particular, I want to commend Marlon for his professionalism and attention to detail. On both visits, he was thorough and courteous, and he and the other employee who completed the work on Friday did an excellent job.
That said, I need to address several major concerns. The $300 discount offered does not adequately reflect the extent of the issues, and I’d like to explain why:
Documented Issues: As outlined in my Google review and Better Business Bureau report (included below), the scope of problems and lack of professionalism was far greater than what $300 reasonably covers.
Project Management: It appeared Marlon was not fully informed of the magnitude of the issues before being sent. Given the number of errors, a manager should have personally reviewed the situation beforehand. Instead, Marlon had to return with another employee on a separate day, prolonging the process unnecessarily.
Out-of-Pocket Costs:
I had to rent a U-Haul on three separate occasions to store garage items while the work was being completed. Each rental averaged $160–$180.
I had to take off work three different times to be present, and Titus also had to arrive late to work each time.
Comparison to Other Cases: I spoke with neighbors who also received a $300 discount for an issue involving incorrect flooring installation. Our situation was far more extensive, yet the same minimal compensation was offered.
Contract Discrepancy: Upon reviewing my contract, I realized that the flooring installed is not the type I originally ordered. This is a significant issue that alone warrants a larger adjustment.
Communication Delays: We repeatedly had to reach out for updates and were told “something was in progress” or that someone would follow up. It was not until I posted my concerns publicly that an appointment was actually scheduled. This lack of urgency placed an unfair burden on us.
Given these circumstances, I respectfully request that the compensation offered be revisited. While I have a specific amount in mind, I would first like to see what Renuity is willing to propose. However, I want to be clear that $300 does not come close to addressing the financial and personal impact of this situation.
I hope you will review this matter with the seriousness it deserves. If necessary, I am prepared to escalate further. I look forward to your timely response.
Sincerely,
Karla Jones

Feel free to forward this to the manager. I will probably send this to the corporate office as well.
Review: Renuity Home of Charlotte - Garage Floor and Porch Coating Service
Overview
I am writing this review reluctantly, as I had hoped Renuity Home of Charlotte would address the issues with my service experience promptly. Unfortunately, I received substandard workmanship and encountered unprofessional behavior from their technician.
Service Requested
· Garage floor and front porch coating installation
Issues Encountered
Initial Scheduling Problems
On the morning of my scheduled appointment (8:00-9:00 AM window), the technician called at 7:25 AM requesting to reschedule due to a 35% chance of rain. When I checked the weather forecast, it showed only a 5% chance of rain, with higher percentages on subsequent days.
We explained that we had already:
· Rented a U-Haul to move items (financial commitment)
· Taken time off work
· Arranged our schedule around this appointment
The technician was reluctant to proceed and could not confirm whether the company had contingency plans for weather-related issues. At his suggestion, I purchased tarps from Lowe's at 8:00 AM as a precautionary measure.
Service Quality Issues
Despite the technician's initial reluctance, work commenced. However, the quality was subpar:
· Garage floor coating application was uneven with visible clumps
· Flakes were not properly smoothed out
· Final result showed poor attention to detail
Unprofessional Communication
During the lunch break, when the rain probability increased to 20%, I texted the technician asking about covering the porch with tarps. His phone response was highly unprofessional:
· Blamed me for "rushing" the project
· Claimed the situation was only an inconvenience to him
· Used a disrespectful tone and made accusations
· Stated he "knew he shouldn't have come out"
· Refused to continue the conversation professionally
When I addressed his unprofessional tone, he became more confrontational and threatened to call his manager. I informed him that he would not be welcome back at my property if he continued speaking disrespectfully.
Management Response
My boyfriend contacted the manager to report the technician's unprofessional behavior and request that the technician no longer communicate directly with me. The manager instructed the technician to communicate only through him going forward.
Final Work Quality
After the technician resumed work (following an hour of apparent frustration in his truck), the completed project was unacceptable:
· Poor surface preparation and finishing
· Coating drips on porch areas and bricks where none should be present
· Overall sloppy workmanship
· Uneven application throughout
Additional Issues
Upon departure, the electrical breaker to my front porch, garage, and front of the house was turned off, either intentionally or accidentally, without notification. This appeared to be a final act of unprofessionalism.
Quality Comparison
A comparison with my neighbor's garage (also completed by this company) revealed significantly better workmanship, confirming that the quality of work I received was below their typical standards.
Follow-up Service
Despite sending photos documenting the poor workmanship and making multiple calls to management, it has been nearly a week with no concrete action plan. I have only received vague promises that "someone will look into this" and "someone will come back out," but no specific scheduling or resolution timeline has been provided.
Conclusion
For the significant cost of this service, I expected professional behavior and quality workmanship. Unfortunately, neither was delivered. The combination of unprofessional conduct, poor communication, substandard work quality, and inadequate follow-up service makes it impossible for me to recommend Renuity Home of Charlotte to others.
I hope this review serves as constructive feedback for the company to improve their service standards and technician training programs.

THE PRICE WAS FAIR AND THE VALUE IS HIGH. THE WORK WAS COMPLETED ON TIME AND DONE VERY CLEANLY AND PROFESSIONALLY. I'VE RECOMMENDED YOU TWICE.
Nice finished product
Job was not completed on time. Scheduled for Wednesday and Friday to do a garage, front porch, and patio. Staff was here only 4 hours working each day. Had no contact info for customer support and had to find number online. Kept getting transferred frim one line to snother because only name I had was Heaven. Was told they could not find my account or location of Heaven. Several phone calls made to discuss unfinished job. Heaven was not very supportive and seemed unconcerned. I finally heard from project manager and job was completed on Monday afternoon. I was lied to on multiple occasions about not enough material to complete garage on Wednesday and would complete on Friday. Same story Friday not enough materials to finish job. Trey said they would be back on Saturday and was no show. Trey called 7:10 am Sunday and said they would have been here but since voicemail was what he got he guess I was still asleep. I returned call and left voicemail stating I was in the shower and he could come. No response. Not trustworthy or reliable
The presentation was very good, as was the financing process. All was professional and presented in plain and easy to understand language. The install date was set, and the team showed up on the day agreed upon.
Went above and beyond but when asked why a couple of things weren’t done they blamed Renuity.
It's going to take some time before I will recommend the coating. As far as the installers they were great to work with.
Great experience. professional work done
Professional installers were very helpful.
I was not pleased with the customer service or quality of work. The whole process took months and even though there is a lifetime warranty on the work the prices are too expensive for the quality of the work.
very expensive
The project is still not complete and it took a month before any one from Renuity could come out to look at the surface .. and again today still no resolution- very disappointing
I had no issues with this install.
We were very happy with the product and the pricing. It greatly improved our garage. We no longer have rain leaking in under the garage door. Also good communication between us and Reunity.
Although we had to keep postponing it due to the rain, they worked with me and finally got it done. The guys were very friendly and took their time to get it right and they did a great job.
They did a great job.
Great job at a competitive price
They are a great company. I am very pleased with their work. They arrived on schedule, worked well together, and cleaned up everything before they left. Their manager drove an hour and a half out of his way to bring me a different color of flakes for the floor because I decided to do a different color at the last minute. Excellent customer service !!! Thank you.
They did a very good job. Everyone was so nice.
I felt overall they did a good job with the install and everyone was very professional.
These folks did everything they promised him more. Very, very pleased with my porch.
Two patios-one perfect and one full of blisters that pop when stepped on and showed defects in finished product- slow and poor response to try and fix issue
