The Kerfoots are CON artists and if there's justice in this world, they will be in jail soon. Not sure how they have a rating from any other customer in Newark, DE because they were only licensed in New Castle County for the time they were supposed to be restoring my elderly aunt's home after it was destroyed by fire. Dinetta manipulated and STOLE every last dollar from her and left the house at rough-in stage. Further, they didn't pay the subcontractors who now threaten to place liens on the house. They're currently out of business and should never work in Delaware or any other state again. It's vile that Dinetta uses the death of Tom's son to garner sympathy and, worse, swears on his grave to deliver promises she never intends to keep. V I L E, VILE people.

The people that did the actual rebuild were excellent. They cleaned up after each other, asked me about options, and were very responsive. The people that packed things up did it well but weren't very logical or consistent. They need smaller boxes for records and for heavier compact items.

The Cornerstone Restoration team did a wonderful job with our restoration and, as a result, I highly recommend them. They met with us at the beginning to review the damage and work scope and were clear in setting (and ultimately exceeding) expectations. In particular Jim, the project manager, was great in communicating, responding to questions quickly, and in following through on action items. He kept the budget on schedule and it was clear he wanted things to be right. The workmanship was great and they did a fantastic job refinishing a lot of hardwood floors following water damage. Finally, DiNeta was great with carefully moving our belongings, providing containment and clean-up. We had never been through home damage like this before but Cornerstone provided a highly professional and expert restoration service, from start to finish. We are fortunate to have a nice home and wanted it to be restored to the prior condition. Cornerstone exceeded our expectations by a lot- I would hire them again and recommend them highly to friends.
