We had a wonderful experience overall

We like their style of homes.

So far, the experience with Barringer Homes has been very positive.

Overall the worst experience we've had with a builder and this is the fourth home we've built. Would not recommend.

We're just starting the process to build our new home but so far we've had a great experience. Communication and responsiveness has exceeded expectations. Only reason for not giving a 5-star rating is that we are just starting.

Barringer is ok. They're a little chaotic, but they have really great sub-contractors so the actual work getting done is high quality.

Quality of the finished product is below what we expected from a firm with Barringer's reputation. Our opinion may improve if Barringer is able to remedy the issues with finish quality like subpar paint job, uneven cabinetry, molding cut to the incorrect length, etc.

I have purchased many homes and properties and this has been the worst home buying experience I have ever had. The warranty they offer means nothing because they will simply ignore claims or refuse to do the work until you hire a lawyer. When you finally do get a few items completed the work is rushed and shoddy and if you value your home you are forced to hire someone to do it right. I regret buying this home and falling for all of their empty promises about standing by their product and not abandoning their buyers after closing.

Slow response times

Quality of new, modern townhome was not as expected in several areas (leaks / water damage, window replacements, roof issues, general attention to care on cabinets, drawers, sinks, scuffs / scratches, cleanliness, etc.), with multiple issues cropping up before and after closing that are on-going, however Barringer management has been very accommodating responsive and easy to work with. I feel confident the issues are ultimately going to be resolved, but stressful nonetheless. I recognize the uniqueness of this project and it is not typical in the Charlotte market and may not be representative of Barringer's typical builds.
