Communication - Between Trish, Gerardo and Mike someone was at our house every day and we were able to answer questions, and get answers timely. As with any renovation there are things that don't look the way you as the home owner envisioned them, and we were able to and in fact encouraged to voice any questions so that if a change was needed it could occur right away!

Areas Of Satisfaction - We were overall very pleased with our experience and plan to use MBC again for future projects and have already recommended them to others looking to do similar type remodeling in their homes.

New construction+old house+remodeling = lots of unknowns. The best solution? Hire a crew you can talk to, one that will tell you about issues AND provide you possible solutions. No company is going to be perfect, but with MBC you know you're getting honesty. We put a down payment of several thousands dollars on our large addition, but during the financing process this got missed. I had totally forgotten about it, and halfway through the project Mike mentioned that he saw it was missing from the bank finances He could have never said anything and just pocketed the money, but he didn't.

If I brought up an issue, it was discussed immediately, and everything I asked, they did. When I wanted opinions, they gave education and options, so that I could make sound decisions. Most other companies wouldn't give any opinion at all and wanted all the pressure on me to make choices. When I made a choice to remove a bunch of lighting, it was no problem at all. When I asked if they could add some painting to the project, they made it happen.

We had lots of issues with our bank being slow to provide funds to MBC, but MBC was always punctual, polite, and they cleaned up well. Also, MBC was big on "do it right once, even if that means doing it slower" which meant the workers were SO much happier. I could tell how proud they were of their work from making old walls totally even to laying our difficult tiling. They took pride in their work.

Recognized Excellence - Tyler was so polite, helpful, and recognized the need to be respectful with music, smoking, and language since we had a baby in the house. We've had many other workers who didn't treat our space like their own. Mike was a dream to work with: easy going despite my sometimes wild ideas, and he always made time to talk. His professionalism and pride in treating people well made our long journey so much easier.

Areas Of Satisfaction - This house was built in 1960, and of course back then things were done differently. When taking the tile off Mike and his crew did run into a few problems, but they were able to work through those problems. They did a good job keeping the mess under control. When they were finished, you could not tell the old stuff was even there. I am quite pleased with the work they did for me.

We love our new bathroom. I was so impressed when Mile (owner) was willing to adjust to our requests and then dealt with all vendors. We requested to have our claw foot tub refinished and painted an unusual color. At our first interview I do not think Mike was too sure of what to do about that, but he came through with the perfect company and a professional who did an amazing job.

First rate workmanship and professionalism, simply quality that you can count on.

Our partial basement remodel/full basement seal met and then exceeded our expectations. The before and after was just beautiful and so professionally done. We'll definitely be calling these guys again for future projects! Thank you Justin, Mike, Matt and Bud!

MBC did an excellent job and Mike, his son and Anthony were a pleasure to deal with.

I would recommend them for any and all jobs, and I would use them again in my home.

We were visited by Matt and Mike several times throughout the one week experience with them and besides even knowing exactly what they were going to do Mike checked in on the project every day. Matt came over three times over the course of the project and it wasn't a massive project. We are looking forward to having them back to do different areas in our home. It was nice to work with someone who will be explanatory. They answered all our questions. Everyday when the workers left they were great even down to cleaning up everything. Things were put up and they were professional and friendly.
