Our 18 month relationship with Hatfield has been terrific. Amanda's design team is gifted, and being able to see the final product using their technology gave us confidence that we had made the right design and layout choices before demolition began. They did a good job of using their experience to suggest tweaks in our planning that have paid huge dividends for us. Our project managers were courteous and professional during the build, and they communicated often and openly. Chad's follow up after we moved back in has been great. He calls every few weeks to see how the space is working for us and if any adjustments need to be made. Overall am pleased with the stand alone 2 car garage and new concrete driveway and walkway. Stayed within budget and very pleased with look and finish of the garage. Took longer than expected but mainly due to weather. Communication was excellent and the small issues that arose were handled professionally. Would use them again.

We are a couple of extremely particular and demanding old fogeys. The Hatfield group, (from owner to designer to job foreman to subcontractors), was a perfect match for us as we/they took our 38 year old home down to the studs and transformed it completely. The only thing that remains unchanged is the address. Everything else is amazingly brand new.

Our project with Hatfield Builders and Remodelers was a full kitchen, living room, bathroom and 1st floor renovation. Our family has lived in close quarters for a few months during the renovation and we could not be more pleased with Hatfield. There are many horror stories of bad renovations and dissatisfaction of the final results. We are not those customers. Our design photos look like our final product. The work completed is quality work and any issues along the way have been quickly addressed. The owner Chad Hatfield is well organized and turned something that is traditionally a scary time to an empowering and enjoyable experience. I would absolutely recommend using Hatfield. This was all very transparent and done with our best interest in mind. HBD adeptly handled the situation and in fact, supplied the design idea that satisfied both the structural engineer and the arborist in a timely fashion. HBD's good work helped us to stay on our challenging timeline and save our priceless oak.

I'm, to put it lightly, a 'precise' person and have clearly defined, but very high, expectations. Chad and his team worked with us from pre-planning to architectural plans to constructions and completion in a way I could only hope for. This is our first house to build and I've heard a multitude of nightmare stories regarding cost overruns, change orders, poor scheduling and even worse from friends that have built houses and done major remodel projects and wanted to spell things out very clearly, from the beginning, to avoid as many of these pitfalls as possible. Before we made the choice to work with Hatfield, we interviewed his team as much as they interviewed us to ensure everyone knew what the process would be like and what everyone's expectations were. Throughout this process we've valued that everyone at Hatfield has not just, built what we asked for but offered recommendations, based off their experience, to ensure we would end up with the best final product possible. The work was of the highest craftsmanship and we continue to receive compliments on the work that they did. Secondly, we were extremely satisified with the timeliness of their work. They laid out a construction calendar and kept to that calendar with very little if any missed deadlines. They were very responsive to any questions that we had along the way and were very creative on their design plans. They were very willing to do what we asked but were also not shy about pointing out areas that we might want to reconsider our thinking (e.g., would point out if a certain type of stain would appear dated, or the size of a desired appliance would either dwarf or be dwarfed by the layout). And in the end, the actual cost of the remodel came in right on plan with their estimates. Overall, we plan on using them again.
