WRONG CAULK COLOR, HANDLES NOT ADJUSTED OR LOOSE AND FALLING OFF, SCREW PUSH IN COVERS NOT INSTALLED, SCREENS NOT INSTALLED, WINDOW PROTECTIVE TAPE NOT REMOVED, WRONG COLOR WINDOW CRANKS AND LOCKS AND THEY ARE NOT EVEN AVAILABLE, BRONZE HANDLES AND WINDOW LOCKS SHOULD HAVE BEEN BLACK, SLOPPY CAULKING, WINDOW COIL DOESN'T MATCH WINDOW FRAME
NOT RECOMMENDED, IF I WAS GOING TO PAY MORE FOR THEIR SERVICE I WOULD EXPECT MORE AND NOT A BUNCH OF FLY BY NIGHT SUB CONTRACTOR TO BLOW THROUGH AND DO A HALF ASSED JOB...... WILL NEVER RECOMMEND.
They showed up on time, did a good job, and had fair prices.
Our salesman lead me to believe I could meet with the owner about a possible, future partnership. After the sale, I was never able to get in touch with him. I think he called me once, weeks after our door was already installed. The installation and follow up was very professional.
Bluebird provided a quality, energy-saving product. They installed the windows effectively and although they cost more than others, they were worth the money
We’ve recommended BlueBird to at least 5 people and I know several have followed up by contacting Rob Parker. This is our second project with this company (did a rental home first) and their quality and customer service are top notch.
I initially reached out because Bluebird is a small local company and we like to support local. We were happy with the entire process. Everyone is professional, their estimates of timing were accurate, and the installation was even better than we could have imagined. We like the windows - especially the way the bottom tilts in (wish the top would come down and tilt in as well). They made a mistake measuring a set of 3 windows, assuming they were all the same size, and cheerfully reordered the windows. Everyone makes mistakes. My measure of a good company is those that do not hesitate to take responsibility.
Gob wel dun
Fantastic quality and value.
I hired Bluebird to replace all seven windows, three doors in my small Arvada Colorado home. They promise “factory trained installers”, my two crews were not even company employees. Crew leader and owner Brian only passed through briefly on the second morning of install.
I had multiple issues with my install including windows that fit way too small. Massive borders around them, two left completely uninsulated. The mail entry, a $4,800.00 door did not have the matching trim inside and out as described in my contract. My new cutout door was cut where it opened right into my car.
Two weeks following the install, company employees John and Nico come to see some of my concerns with my windows and doors. Brian (owner) disregards all concerns and five months later files a lien against my property on a job that was NEVER COMPLETED. One year later, I have another company uninstall seven windows two doors and stack in my yard for Bluebird to pick up, by request of Brian. Brian then states that the deal is off unless I write five star reviews on multiple social media sites stating that I was trying to fraud them out of free product.
What I wouldn’t give to have never had to live through this nightmare!
I enjoyed my experience with Bluebird. Clear, professional communication throughout. Love the new windows.
Excellent service with a high quality product. I love my new storm door.
I don't often leave negative reviews because I'm conscious that, in any given situation, a lot of complex factors can give rise to satisfaction or dissatisfaction. Unless the service or work was %100 egregiously bad, I try to give the benefit of the doubt and leave it be. So I have not posted any negative reviews for Bluebird. However, since I keep getting this survey request over and over, no matter how many times I ignore and delete it, here goes....
Bluebird should not have accepted the job of installing our window. It's out of scope for what you do. We needed a construction company, and now I know that, and we should have been told that. If we'd just requested you to pop in a couple of overpriced doors or double-hung windows, we might have thought Bluebird was just fine, and this survey would look different. But what we wanted in our sunroom, which has a vaulted ceiling, was the wall of windows often seen in rooms with vaulted ceilings. We were told this wasn't possible, or if it were possible, it would be incredibly expensive and a major construction job. That's right, it was a major construction job, and we should have been directed to contact someone with construction expertise. Instead, after some discussion with the salesman, we settled for a little rectangle window because, we were told, that wouldn't get into the structural beams and require demolition of the wall. They could just create an opening and pop in the window, as one does with an ordinary wall window. Wrong. Cut to...the whole wall completely demolished and restructured for the purpose of installing the little rectangle window that wasn't what we wanted in the first place. Even if, in your greed, you didn't want to pass up this job, you should have sent Nico, or some appropriately knowledgeable person, to consult with us. Had we understood the scope of the demolition this job required, we could have decided either we weren't ready for that, or in fact we are ready to go through with the major construction (that we went through anyway) to have the windows we wanted. Now, after a huge demolition and restructuring, we're stuck with a rather odd-looking rectangular window on the vaulted wall and wondering what to do to make it look better. At least we know who NOT to ask.
A related aside....recently a salesperson from Levitech was here to assess our sunken basement floor. He then recommended we not use his company's services for our situation. We were grateful for his clear assessment and honesty and expressed regret at having wasted his time. He said, no, in fact, he was very happy we had contacted Levitech, as another company, just to get the sale, might have lifted the concrete, which could damage our drywall. He said his company's exceptional reputation was based on maintaining a business ethic of having knowledgeable salespeople who provide clear assessments, and, if necessary, turn down jobs that aren't appropriate. As the salesman was talking, Bob and I had the same thought...he's describing Bluebird Windows and Doors. We're delighted that though Levitech will not be lifted our sunken basement, they will be pouring a new garage floor for us this spring. It's likely we'll be recommending Levitech to our friends.
Love the windows , and the price can’t be beat
Beautiful work. Garage entry door replaced and it looks perfect.
Quality work!
I was very satisfied with BlueBird Windows & Doors.
Recognized Excellence - Our sales Rep was Rob Parker, he was kind, took a non-pressure sales approach & was informative. When I received our estimate I did not feel like I was being taken for granted. It was very reasonable and in-line with our expectations.
Additional Comments - All of the bedrooms in our house are south facing and are always 3-5 degrees different than the rest of the house. We shopped new windows from Champion, Andersen and Pella. When I came across a recommendation for Blue Bird I thought why not one more. We were so impressed with the quality & the pricing was amazing. The communication about our project happened all the way through the process. The Install team was here early and were professional, efficient and cleaned up after themselves. We have had a number projects done in our home and this was far the cleanest anyone left our house. The windows have made such a difference I noticed it right away. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BlueBird Window & Doors to anyone looking at replacements.
Recognized Excellence - Pedro and his crew were fantastic. Nico was super helpful and noticed a flaw we hadn’t even seen.
Areas Of Satisfaction - They exceeded my expectations in all areas.
Recognized Excellence - Everyone I talked to was extremely professional.
We chose BlueBird to support a Boulder County business. But things didn't go well!
The date of "work completed" is actually the date that our agreement was abruptly dropped by the owner of the company. He decided a few days after we sent in the first half payment that he didn't want to do our project after all. When I asked him to explain why he was shutting us down, he couldn't provide a specific reason - just that he had a gut feeling from the beginning that he shouldn't do the job. I asked if we had too many questions, or if we were difficult to work with. I received no clear response.
Perhaps he underbid our project and decided to bail out. Or maybe he was annoyed that, after we decided to obtain the building permit ourselves, it was revealed that he didn't have a contractor's license in Louisville - and he didn't want to have to pay for one(?). Just a guess, since he wouldn't explain this abrupt and disruptive response.
To add frustration to the situation, he cancelled on us two days after a 40% off special ended with another company, from which we got a lower estimate. But wanting to support a local business, we made a poor decision and chose BlueBird instead.
If you value your time and self-worth, I wouldn't recommend using BlueBird.
Recognized Excellence - Nico was very helpful.
They were reliable and left the house and job clean.
Areas Of Satisfaction - They met my over all expectations.
They did very good work.
Additional Comments - They did very good work. I would recommend them to anyone. I was very satisfied.
They are very trustworthy.
Areas For Improvement - It took a while to get the window in but I don't think that was their fault.
Areas Of Satisfaction - I was satisfied with them helping me pick out which window and getting it installed.
Additional Comments - I would use them again.
