The guys that did the work did an excellent job. The account manager is quite slack in calling when promising to call and taking care of little things that are still not done.
I've got them doing an estimate on another job right now.

It was a struggle almost from the get go. The problems were almost never ending, on their part. They had a severe lack in communication, with me and with their own personnel. They kept not showing up when scheduled. Their roofing subcontractors damaged my property and left a mess. One of their employees damaged my property and then disappeared off site, without a word. I was constantly fighting to get the work completed in a timely manor. I was made to feel like other jobs were more important because mine was an insurance claim. I didn’t even get to meet my lead contractor until two months in, the day right before work was finally completed. Well, as much as they were going to complete it. As a person already going through the hardships of storm damage and leaks, to then have to deal with all of this, for months, by the people sent to help fix those hardships, was completely unsatisfactory.
They were a pleasure to work with.
1st Class Construction lives up to their name. They were prompt, courteous and competent. They completed the job within an agreed upon schedule. They cleaned up after the job was done and left my property looking as if they were never there. I am extremely satisfied with the results. 1st class all the way.
There were issues with the efficiency of the sequence of the work that was done. Some of it just didn't make any sense.

Everything was good except for the time it took them to finish everything. I only had a little bit of damage. They only had to replace my cabinets, microwave and counter top. It took about a month, or over a month. The time they took to get in and get my stuff done was not good. The time it took them to order the cabinets was ridiculous and they blamed it on the company that made the cabinets. I bought my own microwave and countertop from Lowe's because they didn't have it with them when they came. It took five weeks to get a set of cabinets made, which does not make any sense. I chewed one guy out really bad and he admitted he had dropped the ball. I just wished they would have painted over the black spots instead of replacing the cabinets entirely.
