Schantz Home Improvements

Schantz Home Improvement Company wants to be certain your home improvement project is a fabulous experience and not a contractor nightmare. We strive to provide superior customer service, since we desire to keep you as our customer for many years to fulfill your needs for any future projects that may arise. We have numerous repeat customers as a testimony to this philosophy.

We don't just offer lip service in this area, never offer sales gimmicks, and we will never pressure you into a sale. We offer a superior job for a fair price. Period.

Schantz is not a professional sales organization like many contracting companies. We will send an experienced estimator to your home that possesses extensive construction knowledge. We feel it is imperative to understand the complete construction of your home in order to evaluate the proper solution for your home improvement project. Merely understanding one component may not be sufficient. We will offer you the solution that provides the best VALUE for your situation.

Schantz uses experienced trained professionals to install all our products. Each installer is an expert in their trade, not a jack-of-all trades. You can be assured that the product will be installed properly. Even the best products can fail without proper installation.

This company philosophy is a tradition that began with Frank Schantz, Greg's grandfather and founder of Schantz Homes in 1946. Schantz Homes, Inc , a family operation for three generations, is owned and operated by Greg's two brothers Steve and John. Greg left the business in NY to begin his own venture and continue the tradition of superior customer satisfaction and quality construction. Answers from contractors near Marietta, GA

I want to repaint a bathroom with semi-gloss over flat paint, but I also want to reseal the corners with a sealant. Seal first or repaint first? What sealant?

Seal first, repaint second, sealant is like caulking used to cover openings.
What is your favorite thing that you put into a new kitchen recently?

We recently purchased a new oven/range as the last one had a pretty bad gas leak. Glad we did as it was a potential danger. We got it on sale also, which was an added benefit!
