They were prompt, fast, and did a great job. They cleaned up the area afterwards. I did not see a nail or staple anywhere. They even used a leaf blower around and on the deck. Very good

I was apparently misled about being able to use the old slats on the original part of the house. They ended up replacing them all with plywood which was not mentioned as a possibility in the estimate and I got stuck with paying for 21 sheets. I did get a small discount of $10 per sheet, but the extra cost was difficult for me to pay for and wholly unexpected.

Two very nice young men came out, 6 hours latter we gave in as my husband works from home and they told him it would take about 2 hrs, so that was the time allocated. Communication after our initial yes was lacking to say the least, finance was a huge issue and it wasn't because of anything our end was lacking it was the companies they were using. After the 1st company could not get it together due to tech problems. They tried the second company. This took half the day. It was ridiculous We specifically asked for a $$ amout as our payment. No problem they said, then we were sent 2 different loans for 15,000 a piece, so we had two payments at the amout $$ we requested so it was doubled.
The roof looks good hopefully it was done correctly. They were suposed to have a 3rd party come out inspect the work,. We were never contacted, I reached out and asked about it, they said they would have them out in 2 months, never happened,not surprised!! So would I refer the company. Absolutely not!!
Wore us down, to get the yes , they know their clause for canceling.

They gave me a final price and I paid it. Got a receipt and wrote on the check for final payment and they accepted it and deposited in their account. 4 weeks after the job was done, they told me I owed 590.00 more. Bad work around chimney. Also was supposed to install drip edge that they didn't and ice and rain barrier in valleys that wasn't done. Also left two shingles that wasn't trimmed off

Our sales rep, Jamie Gill, ended up costing me $8k out of pocket after assuring me it would cost nothing.

We were approved for a certain amount and then quoted a price. However, the final price went a little over what they had originally quoted us. They increased the payment amount after telling me what it was supposed to be, but it still didn’t go over our loan amount. That was upsetting because I didn’t understand why the payment increased when the loan amount stayed the same. By then, I was already locked into the lease to make these payments. There was nothing I could do about it unless I wanted to get a lawyer. I can't afford a lawyer and make the roof payment too.

I would rate this a 4.5. Best Choice Roofing wasn't that thorough in the cleanup with picking up nails. I found a bunch around. They painted a piece of work on the house, but didn't close the paint can properly.
