It was too much confusion. I had to go back to the rep. The first guy, Tyler, was great. He saw me on Dec. 31. I was not ready to purchase. I had 2 other guys come to my door. One went on the roof and did not show me any of the damage that Tyler showed me. They showed me a video. I said I talked to Tyler, and they had to transfer all of Tyler's notes to this new guy, and I had problems with the guy that came to install; he was determined not to do that work, and I would not recommend them. Another thing is that I had a long discussion with the second guy about what they did on my roof. I could have gone through my insurance company to do it, and he knew that. He went on and on, and then we called Tyler, and he showed me the damage on my roof. Tyler was the only honest person who came to my house.

The experience from start to finish was extremely frustrating and disappointing. The roof color was misrepresented by the salesperson, leading to us getting a roof color we dislike. We were brushed off when I tried to address those concerns. The flashing color arrived an incorrect color and was installed without giving us an option to keep it or replace it. The project manager did not properly keep us informed on that situation and I had to follow up for a resolution. We were misinformed or highly overcharged for extra wood needed. There were more issues than this but these are the highlights. In the end, we were not valued as customers even though the issues were the fault of the company. We were sold a roof we don’t like and a nightmare of an experience. Choosing this company was a mistake from the beginning and I would never ever recommend you to anyone.

They were contacted by my insurance to cover the roof, and they told my insurance company that since I paid in full they don't care, so why should I care?

Communication with the Hispanics was not good.

They left roofing materials all over my yard after the first day. I had to call to see if they were coming back the next day as I had no idea. Then when the job was completed, they left a significant amount of materials here (metal roofing, screws etc.) I had to hull it all to the recycling center. The people in the office where professional but the crews were not.

I would be hesitant to recommend Best to my friends. I am a big proponent of small, locally-owned business. This is not a locally-owned business. Thus, I do not believe they will accommodate the local citizens. After engaging with Best, I discovered other local roofing businesses I really should have supported.
