Our project had two phases: the first was to remove our older solar panels because we re-roofed our house. Then we added new panels and a new converter. With the newer panels we were also able to expand the footprint which was exciting! Abundant staff arranged for all the the extra paperwork with the Energy Trust and ensured our project was completed in time to claim the yearly tax credits. Adding solar panels to your home is by far the easiest and most non-invasive home improvement ever.

I have and will continue to recommend Abundant and also refer if people are ready to install or want bids. I suggest people get three bids. Tell each vendor you are doing this. Show them the results if you want. I recommend Abundant as one of the companies. I wish the industry in Oregon would design and publish a standard for 1) pre-bid information collected and 2) bid package and contract. Most use the same software but actual designs were quite variable. Also the industry and bid package need an ethics foundation and Abundant would be a role model.

Abundant Solar designed a great solar system for my house. Their staff were knowledgeable about the products they sell and worked with me to build a system that was optimized for my roof. The install was well done and completed on time.

From consultation to installation I found the team to be very reliable & trustworthy, as well as easy to work with. They have a good track record w our neighbors as well, which was one of the reasons for choosing them. Have had many door-door folks trying to sell to us. Abundant Solar is not a hard sell team but there to help when you are ready.

I don't have experience with other solar installers to compare Abundant Solar to, but I've heard the horror stories of people getting ripped off by fly-by-night scammers. These guys are not scammers; they have a history and a good reputation here. They're good at what they do, and they are transparent with information and are willing to discuss and explain, and answer questions. They also take care of details on rebates and dealings with the power company.

My contractor recommended Abundant Solar. I have previously discussed solar options with two other companies and did not feel comfortable with their approach (hard sell, unable to answer questions) SA showed up when scheduled, made all arrangements for rebate and coordinated with power company. They have a good warranty and are local (so I assume will be around if problems develop).
