I think the process with the floor plans and design process is amazing. It made it so easy to manage a budget and the design team was great in assisting make decision to ensure our home turned out cohesive. I think the communication on the building process could be improved.
We liked most aspects of the project like home design flexibility, the design showroom and help from designers along with many design options and working with the project manager. We were disappointed that we didn't get a meeting with the project manager and office/design staff before starting the project that I understand is normal (from our manager). He said he would have given input that would have made for a better finished project (mainly placement of home and driveway). I am not sure why this meeting didn't occur but suspect it may have been due to Covid (if so, we could have done a Zoom meeting). We were disappointed with the electrician; they put outlets in the wrong place in the great room causing us to have to change the floating cabinet layout to accommodate where sound system equipment had to be placed, put the master bathroom lights too high on the wall (they did move them down after we realized it but the finished work is not as good and we are still awaiting painting) and did not do all of the extra work we paid for in an electrical change order. The painters were also poor; almost all of the nail holes on the outside trim were not covered, they missed some trim work, didn't sand door sides before painting, etc. They have come back twice for touchup work but have refused to do some work (window seal in office and garage that have construction damage) and simply missed other work after we showed them twice (and it was marked with tape).
Excellent build quality, sophisticated design, great customer care, and long-lasting value.
We are so happy that we chose to build with Renaissance. Our home is beautiful and everything that we wanted. We are six months and are enjoying every moment of our house.

Renaissance builds incredibly unique and beautiful homes in ideal locations. Their sales and marketing staff could a serious rebuild as they might leave you feeling like you left a used car lot, but the design team and the folks that actually build the house do a decent job making up for sales/marketing's issues.
