I would not recommend them.
I would recommend to anyone who might not mind a pool next door to them.
I am happy with Logan Homes and the staff. They kept the schedule I was promised. They kept me informed throughout the process. I was pleased with them.
I already have someone looking at possibly building with Logan
It was smooth sailing. We had to call for a few minor issues, but they were handled above beyond quickly.
The house that Logan homes built for us was the home we have always dreamed of.
Logan homes treats me as if they have known me forever, and want to make me happy in my new home.
This was our first experience with Logan Homes and we have been very impressed throughout the entire process.
We absolutely love our new Logan Home in St. James Plantation! Thank you for a job well done. We are looking forward to many happy years in our well-built home!
Ben was excellent throughout the whole process. He called me every Friday to update me on the progress. We couldn't have asked for a better supervisor than him.
We could not be more pleased with the quality of the build (from foundation, to framing, to finishes, there were no corners that were cut) and the build was completed a month ahead of schedule. In a time where it appears from most businesses that customer service is dead, the entire team at Logan Homes was completely responsive, professional, polite, and delivered a wonderful product.
We have a beautiful Logan home but Devin is overworked. He does communicate with clients as often as we were told he would and he always said he would do something at one time and do it a different time. All got done in the end but it was frustrating. We do not recommend the landscaper. Everyone else was great.
I feel that John Yates was very professional but was over-whelmed by the number of homes he was over-seeing. Because of this, there is a structural issue that occurred with my home that cannot be rectified. There seem to be many structural differences in the homes in my neighborhood, although they are all supposed to be based on the same model. I trusted that my home would be built to replicate the model which was what I based my purchase on. There were some items that were not as expected and I was not notified of the change, but any change that I wanted to make after final selections, would have resulted in additional fees. In addition, while picking out features for my home, I was not offered any information that would lead me to believe that I was able to make a structural change, however, many of my neighbors were given that opportunity
I have been very impressed with the responsiveness. We had a couple of warranty issues, and they were handled very professionally and quickly. We are in the process of moving, so we are not here full time yet. They were able to get people down here when we were here. I think the warranty stuff was handled very well.
This is the third home we have had built and we have been fortunate to have had a good quality product delivered to us each and every time. I would say our Logan home has impressed us the most. My wife and I are very happy with our Logan home and will be passing the word on to whoever will listen.
We purchased one of their model homes so did not go through the process of building. Very pleased with the experience
Logan has been wonderful to deal with - they are responsive to any issues that arise and we are very happy with our new home!
I would like to commend Tom, the warranty follow-up person. He was very responsive and has great follow-up and customer service. Everyone with Logan has bent over backwards to address our concerns and I couldn't be more satisfied with their customer service.
We felt the initial conversations, questions and selection of the home model was easy and comfortable. Paula is a true professional and always followed up to provide answers and solutions. Since our specific home had not been built previously (elevation) we were only given a picture of the front of the house at the time we selected all of our interior and exterior choices. It would have been helpful to see the house design from all sides. Our original supervisor was only with us a short while before we were handed off to the Top Supervisor (Ryder) who was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and responsive. After a few month we were once again handed off to Jon Wood. Jon was somewhat responsive at the beginning, but proved not to be a great communicator and struggles with follow-up and getting the entire job done. We had multiple issues at closing and still (5 months later) have a few final things outstanding. Having to constantly ask for updates and for promised follow up has made this experience a 3 vs a 5. I would strongly advise new home owners to inspect each part of the process and not sign any closing papers until all walk thru items have been fixed or completed. The Warranty department is extremely responsive and helpful. They were great. Overall the quality of workmanship in most of the house is good.
They were good.
Everything was the way we expected. They went above and beyond.
A entirely positive experience from beginning to closing. Logan Homes is unsurpassed operation, and we are thrilled to have chosen them for the building of our homeDavid & Barbara TuellSt James Plantation-The Towns
Although we love our new home, the process wasn't what was expected from such a reputable builder. Our first concern is that we paid to have our lot cleared and a wall put up with an estimated cost was $3000. It ended up costing us nearly $9000 and it was much smaller than anticipated. We were also left with a very tall tree that will cost us $750 to remove, since it's dangerously close to our house. The back corner of our yard was supposed to be flat to fit a future fire pit and there isn't enough leveled land to do that, so if we proceed, we have to have it cut out of the slope, and that will be costly. We were never given the opportunity to plan our landscaping and believe it would be very costly to move it now. Our second concern is that, we were never told about the electrical sub-panel on the outside of our house, nor that we didn't have a main shut of on our electrical panel needed for a roll up generator. We were never given the opportunity to place outlets for TVs on the wall. This additional electrical work cost us $1400, including an outlet for a circulation pump in the garage. Which brings us to the third concern. We were never told about the need for a circulating pump in order to get hot water in the master bath. Currently it takes 2 minutes for it to warm up. We didn't know we had to pay extra to get hot water in a timely manner, that should be a given. The estimate for this, after the electrical outlet, is an additional $600. Next, our front walkway is very narrow and doesn't allow a path from a car in the driveway to the front door. It's curved way to small for the space. You have to walk through the garden to enter the house from the front. Next, when we choose our cabinets, we were told the soft closes were included. To our disappointment they weren't installed and when questioned our sales rep told me that if she told us it was included it was her mistake but there was nothing she could do since it wasn't included. Now we have to get a price to fix this and we have no idea how much more this will cost us. Another item is that there was an uneven temperature from one side of our house to the other. When the HVAC man was here, he adjusted it but he told us it was a design flaw, since we only have one zone the unit should have been placed in the center of the house. We are concerned this could present a problem in the future. We don't mind paying for things that are important to us, but not being informed is now costing us a lot of money. We trusted Logan to keep us informed with our out of state build and had we lived in the area we might have caught these items during the build.
Logan Homes made our dreams come true! Professional, responsive and concerned that OUR dream home was built with care. We couldn't be happier!
Logan Homes has been outstanding throughout the entire process. Now that we are in and settled, they have promptly addressed every issue that we have brought to their attention in our first 60 days so far. Too many names to mention, but can say with confidence that all have been responsive, professional knowledgeable...all you could hope for. Currently working with the warranty department for some tweaks and repairs and they have been great also!
GuildQuality partners with it's member companies to survey their customers and collect detailed feedback on their behalf. By administrating surveys as an unbiased third party we ensure that customers have the oppurtunity to express their true feelings about a project and that members get the most accurate and detailed feedback possible.
When a survey contains the "Review" question, that customer's answer will show up on the member's profile page as a public review. Members have the option to turn off reviews but cannot hide individual reviews. It's all or nothing. This means that any reviews you see on a GuildQuality profile page are real comments left by the customer and verified by GuildQuality.
Each item listed under "Customer satisfaction" represents a specific question asked by GuildQuality to customers of Logan Homes as part of our survey process. The bar graph and percentage next to the question stand for the percentage of respondents that were "Satisfied" about that particular question.
A customer is considered satisfied about about a question if they answered with 4 or more stars out of 5. For example if the "Communication" question is at 95% satisfaction that means that 95% of survey respondents answered that question with 4 or more stars out of 5 possible stars.More about surveys
