I would recommend Ferris to a friend, depending on the project that was being done. I am not sure that the project we needed was in Ferris's area of expertise. In retrospect, I remember our salesperson telling us that concrete work and patios weren't really something Ferris did often, and he even recommended that we consider other options. Ultimately, we are happy with the job that was done. Everyone was very professional, kind, and easy to work with. But, ineffective communication and managing many contractors resulted in a sometimes frustrating experience as a customer.

I am sorry to say that Ferris does not provide the level of customer service and professional care i expected from viewing their office in Newark and dealing with them up until the sale is completed. Service after the sale is poor. They are poor at returning calls and keeping you in the loop on issues as they arise. They develop schedules but have yet to hit one. I am a very frustrated customer

They were very professional, fair, and they came out fast.
Most of the experience was top notch. The design process was easy and very accommodating. The actual work from all the trades was done well, however a number of the trades, especially the plumbers did not clean up after themselves, even during finish work. The plumbers were by far the worst leaving large piles of debris on newly finished floors and even in the tub and sink they were working in. The final concern was the PM on site was not proactive. He was responsive if I informed him of a problem, but as PM he should be the one advising me of issues not waiting for me to reach out to him. Overall, I would recommend Ferris, but I would certainly make sure they were aware of my concerns as well.

We had a challenging project schedule due to a city road re-saving project in our neighborhood. Ferris was very flexible in their project scheduling to schedule the project at a time that didn’t conflict City project, and increased the project staffing level in order to finish in the available window.

Ferris Home Improvements has renovated our deck, our kitchen, and all of our bathrooms. They have always replaced our roof and siding. I feel like I live in a brand new house and I didn't have to move! I am so happy with their work and tell anyone who will listen that they need go nowhere else for quality work by skilled and talented professionals. Their design work is outstanding. Every morning when I come into my kitchen to start my day, I say to myself "I love this kitchen", and this is no exaggeration...every, single, day. They stuck to the work schedule they gave us at the start of each project, which really helped us plan, and they finished on schedule every time. All the crafts people are personable and accommodating. Ferris is just the best!
