Good quality homes
The super assistant, Lane lied to me & never completed the pre orientation walk thru items as promised if I would just sign off on the list. After making a fuss to agent & super, Tyler then did a crap job touching up a few items just to shut me up. I did not even have keys that fit my home for a 1 1/2 wks post closing. I sent about 6 emails trying to get someone to respond to me from the management company to get an address to pay my HOA dues that I was trying to pre pay for balance of 2022 & pre pay for all of 2023 and no one ever responded to me, I finally bumped into a neighbor & got them to text me a photo of the letter they received in the mail with an address to send it to. Never once got a return call, text or email from the so called management company, they are terrible and I would never hire them to manage any property for us. I am a realtor & work for a developer & builder myself. I would never hire the company they are using at Townes of Auburn, in Auburn, GA . I bought as an investment property and thought it was good quality for the money but after the terrible customer service and lack of response from the management company I will most likely never purchase from Rocklyn Home again. Your word is worth gold, the lack of integrity & customer service here needs to be reviewed for training all the way around.
I would not like to leave a public comment.
So far so very good.
Rocklyn Homes has poor communication and no followup on work orders.
The Rockland team was very helpful throughout the process and made home buying in this crazy market easier.
It was a quick, easy process. I am happy with the home.
I Documented my with Rocklyn homes , a this was not Award winning results on home neither was the service
I am having some issues with my townhome and no one is returning phone calls from customer care.
I was excited to purchase from Rocklyn Homes. I know there was stuff going on when I purchased it last year. We were at the end of a pandemic but I felt like the communication wasn't good. From customer service with all of my inspections, I had to constantly do the follow-up. The person that was assigned didn't communicate with me well. Things were constantly being rescheduled and repeatedly addressed. Most things were not addressed. I was constantly, constantly, constantly addressing things that were never addressed. At one point, it was weeks and weeks where I didn't hear anything. I did the appropriate follow-up. There's a paper trail of that. I was extremely disappointed with that. You buy a new home and expect a certain standard of service. I could have bought from a different builder but I always thought of Rocklyn as a high standard and I was extremely disappointed with the lack of communication and the people that were assigned to take care of my house. It was a mess. Everything was all over the place.
Nope, definitely should’ve waited for my other options. If the signs presented before move in I definitely would’ve pulled out of the contract.
we took a home that went out of contract and the kitchen pillar was slanted and there were so many cosmetic issues, electricity issues lightbulbs not working, and flickering from the weather. Some electric plugs are not working, and appliance issues ( dishwasher not heating and drying the utensils) the kitchen sink faucet is not retracting properly, and several areas of the house are not caulked. inside and out, Some homes have black paint on the exterior near windows some don't. The walkway to have the fridge installed was so narrow that many fridges we wanted to have we were not able to purchase because of this. In the laundry room, the dryer unit was placed on opposite sides so that the doors of the washer and dryer weren't facing opposite to unload clothes and there is barely space to walk inside and do the laundry. our cement wall near the garage had broken and the builder refused to get that fixed as he said it was "too late". it was fine at pre-walk so how did it break? the garage has already cracked. the road in front of the sewage drain is still filled with water and not properly drained. The floorboards were not drywalled properly nor were the walls. overall seemed like sloppy work, and this is how many residents felt. the paint near the front door had dripped.
It's a nice neighborhood and quiet at night.
Their work is not good.
There were a few items that were essential with the build. In reference to each linen closet, there was no linen closet in the master.
Rocklyn Homes is great with scheduling and on-time delivery. The interior work is a little rough. Things like the walls are slanted. It is very obvious to the eye. It is still not fixed. I am waiting for the 45-day follow-up to be corrected. The wall correction is a big deal. I have tenants living there, so hopefully this does not affect their lives. Other things are great.
Holly and her team were very professional in helping buy the house. However, I have taken several vacation days from work to have my floor fixed. The same problem area has not been properly fixed and i have to take more days off for it to be touched on again.
They were very easy to work with. We weren't worried that anything would be late.
Yes they are a very professional and helpful team. really happy with my purchase. If Me or a friends is buying again in the future I’ll definitely go with rocklyn homes.
They were on time and offer a decent quality product.
The experience started off in the best interest for us , but David Tennabaum sold us a property in which Rocklyn change the design layout and the completed time was also a lie. We had to purchase the model because Rocklyn change the floor plan from Ashley to another, we lost our over 5000$ ,in design money.
Overall, the experience was great. Ms. Lesley was amazing. I gave 4 stars because, at the time of my second walk through prior to closing, a lot of things I had asked to be corrected on the initial walk through weren't corrected. But that doesn't change my view of the company. The majority of the things were fixed prior to my closing, which was hours later.
Yes, I would recommend Rocklyn Homes.
The purchase process through Rocklyn Homes, for my new construction townhome, was seamless and fantastic. There were very few post-construction issues with the build quality of the home. Minor issues that did appear were promptly and efficiently addressed. The only issues that Rocklyn Homes has not remedied are the issues of water drainage and the forest tree line in the backyard. My fear is that these unaddressed deficiencies will impact the value of my home.
The only thing I can say is they need to do better inspections.
