I think they are very well built homes.
The process was very challenging, we were still fixing things the day of our closing even though they had all week. The quality of the home, luxury townhome, is nothing luxurious. The quality of items in the house even though it is a lower-priced home in the area, the quality is not there.
Love the home, quality of appliances is marginal, and a few areas of finishing workmanship were poor.
The closing was extremely stressful. I was told things were going to be done and they were not done and they made a lot of promises that they did not keep.
Regent Homes was great to work with
This is my second Regent Home. I was really please with the first and excited to be able to move into this one. While the process itself was pretty smooth since I came in after the drywall was already completed, there were several hiccups I encountered. The Regent team did work to get everything fixed, however several items still were pending at the time of closing.
They had very poor customer service.
Whoever cleaning crew was.......they DIDNT clean. Probably groomed & pulled up lose things & wiped out tub & sinks.Windows were dirty. White dust on all kick boards. Just fyi.
I have had some issues since we moved in. The issues have been with the project manager. I have spoken with the office about the issues this week and we will see what happens from there.
The people that I worked with were really good and very attentive to our needs.
The workmanship of our new home was dipolrable. The flooring doesn't meet the trim. The drywall has dents and nails sticking out. We have a 31" crack in our tub. The granite has chips in it and 1" round chip. The sewer backed up on the first day and the emergency contact we had called on a Friday afternoon at 3 p.m. had a full voicemail. The paint job was terrible. We still have things that are wrong. It's a shame no one took pride in their work. All the light receptacles are not even, they are cockeyed. We have stepped on 30 to 40 staples on the stairwell. We are still finding them. This will be 4 weeks since we've been in the house. The light fixture was falling off the front porch. It has been a horrible experience. We can understand inexpensive materials but no one cared.
Regent Homes LLC was very professional, informative, and high quality.
Regent homes has very good quality. We really like the workmanship of the home. The detail is really good. We like the set up of the home and the space between rooms. The location of the home on the lot is great. We like that there is enough space between the houses. Some other neighborhoods don't leave enough room between the houses and I think that it causes drainage problems.
We are very pleased with the build quality overall. We are not happy with the punch list and the post closing.
Regent Homes has very high-quality homes. We shopped around with the multiple builders in the development that we are in and none of them are as high-quality of a home as Regent Homes.
My parents will be purchasing a home from Katt and Regents within the year.
I am very happy with the quality, the location of the properties, and the design of the houses.
As long as it was a community that was over seen by Kathrine Romstad
This is a lovely neighborhood and safe. You feel safe over here.
Absolutely Great Community, We just closed last week in Sherwood Green, We worked with Brad and Daniel and they provided us with exceptional service. Brad always pays attention to detail and he is an intelligent, exceptional, honest and knowledgeable man. He always went above and beyond for us and we were always in the loop of what was happening. Daniel made sure we had our designs right and recommended. Great Quality and after service Follow-ups.
My wife did more one on one with them than I did, but my personal opinion is that they are a class act and professional.
I have purchased 2 homes previously to building this one. I specifically wanted a certain floorplan and maintained communication with Lisa to make sure I could purchase the Bryson when it was ready to be released. I never met anyone other than Lisa until about 2 weeks prior to closing. I was never contacted about anything having to do with my home unless I just happened to drive by and see something. I was treated with disrespect by the builder when I finally was given a meeting. The items I specifically requested during my selection process were not provided and they treated the home as just one of their typical plans they were trying to rush to get through so they could move to another location.
They are very awesome professional
Regent goes the extra mile to make the home buying experience pleasant and easy. There were many people involved with the build of our new home and they all worked diligently to accomplish it weeks sooner than the expected finish date. I am, overall, pleased with the company. My issues, a few, still concern me, but I feel Regent will follow up and complete them as they have the others in the past. We are a month out on them finishing the punch list with no expected completion date communicated.
Thank you, Regent Homes. You built a high quality home and we are pleased with your thoughtful floorplan and your attention to finished details.
We have had an amazing experience with Regent from start to finish. Everyone involved in the process has been professional and communication has been outstanding. Coby and Andy answered every question that we had and kept us informed throughout the process. After we closed, the communication has been just as good! Great people at Regent!!
No. I could not in good concience recommend Regent Homes to anyone. I’m not only not impressed, I am very frustrated and disappointed in my dealings with them
Building a home with Regent Homes was a very positive experience for me. I have also found their quality to be top notch.
So far I am very disappointed with the closing condition of my home. I am hoping that they will follow-through on their commitments.
This was about as smooth as possible. Just a few really strange things needing to be fixed, like the toilet paper holders not able to hold toilet paper? I couldn't understand that one either. So far, to date (1/10/19) repairs, replacements and touch ups are progressing nicely. Shout out to Paul for expediting this. Love this house --
I was very satisfied. It was completed earlier than anticipated.
I could not get Linda to respond and when she did she either had wrong info or confused me with other clients. Regent home never answers the phone at the corporate number so it is impossible to get ahold of anyone. The sales manager was responsive, but my issues arose when she was on vacation and there was not effective backup as her backup was Linda which was the person causing the issues.
I love my new home! Great community and the home is everything I wanted!
The Regents Team worked closely with me throughout the building process and were responsive to my requests. Very pleased with the end result.
You get treated with respect and courtesy. All my needs were met. I am very happy with Regent Homes.
I have put a work order in for the fence that we paid an additional $1800. to have put in. I asked that the fence be fixed there is a space between the gate and the fence and the fence is off alignment. They came and addressed the fence but, it still does not look right. Also, I put in a service call for the cabinet in the upstairs master bathroom vanity is not set right on the cabinet, the superintendent at the time of the walk through said he would put a work order in and I have asked for the service a second time, and still has not been addressed. I would like both of these items fixed please.Thank you,Monica & James Benham
I like the house a lot and if we did not have to deal with Joey it may have been a decent experience. The Realestate person was good. We thought initially everything would be fine but Joey let us down.
The neighborhood is fantastic, and the houses are of the highest quality! I have actually recommend my 82-year-old mother to move into the neighborhood.
Of all the new homes that were available at the time of my purchase, Regent was the most quality and value for my money.
This was a very stressful process, and it didn't have to be.
I love the home and I love the neighborhood. They are easy to work with.
We recommend Regent Homes if you are interested in a well constructed home.
I have already recommended them to my daughter who is now buying a townhouse from them.
I simply love the house for build quality and features.
Joey was excellent. However I have had problems with Eli on a previous townhome and was told Robert would be handling this build. Come to find out Eli was back on my Townhome and he isn't a good representative for Regent. He basically tells your clients your homes aren't custom homes and are spec homes. He talks down to clients and doesn't listen and communicate with the sales team that sells your homes to the clients. I still have items that haven't been fixed. Grass is dead, garage was built too short for my truck (which I raise to the door to fit the height) dent in the garage door, Bathroom fixtures are chrome instead of Brushed nuchal, was told I was getting a Lenox AC and its a Goodman, Fence was suppose to be white and when they painted it brown the over spray when all over my house and when I walked out to talk with the subs they spray paint all over me in in my eye that I just has cataract surgery on two days before, Landscaping isn't what I thought it should be, roads have a lot of nails and a street sweeper should be used, already got two flat tires, there is no phone jack in home and one of the TV outlets wasn't installed, Love the home, just wanted these other things address. I had a 4500 sq ft custom home in Texas on four acres on a lake for the same price of this townhome. I know the market is different but when somebody pays over $300000.00 for a home, they should get what they paid for. ,
The Superintendent was very accommodating at Regent Homes, LLC.
We love the neighborhood and we love the house.
They need to get back to us. They need to take care of the people that they put in these homes.
They did everything they said they would do.
On the day before walkthru, there still was not any backsplash and no so installed. I had to come back the morning of the walkthru to assure this was done. All the other homes of this same style had porch railings..mine had none. I have a balance disorder I fall easily. When asked the day before closing why not, they said it was because ther were only two steps...pardon, I count four. Fortuitously the owner of the company stopped by just then, and I explained my predicament. He said to add the railings. Then, the day after I closed I remembered that I was supposed to have shutters on the front windows. Contacted Coby and they said the forgot, and did all later. That is the only time I have heard from him since closing. The dishwasher does NOT dry the dished, I have to contact Whirlpool. The bathtub did not have hot water (tepid) and Ken said that was the way it was supposed to be....so I asked why the shower and other faucets had hot water. I called the plumber and he said that the tub had not been set correctly, and now has hot water. The GFIs keep snapping. Morgan has been here a couple of times to correct. WHO was the brainiac who thought it was a good idea to put a full lenght window in front of the toilet with the neighbors window five feet away in the exact same place? REALLY??? The sod was DEAD in the back and side the day it was laid. It is nothing but mud now. Ken that this fall they will overseed. So, you expect me to deal with mud, puddles of water for mosquitos and ugly nothing for the nest four months? I watered the front and it is growing, but the dead sod was laid on top of rocks and cement. You really expect that to grow? The back area behind the retaining wall is an embarrassment and probably full of snakes and other varmits. The weeds there are six feet high. No one has done a damn thing about them and the trees and buses that they planted are all dying. I am going to sell this place in the winter and be out of here!
