I contacted Jamison Home Services for a second opinion after receiving a surprisingly high quote from another chimney repair company in Oreland. Daniel arrived promptly and was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly.

He and his partner replaced my outdated wood firebox with a modern wood stove insert and liner, removed and replaced the chimney crown, and caulked the joints near the siding. The installation was done efficiently, and I couldn't be happier with the results.

The workers had to trim the bush next to the front porch, but they really hacked it. It either needs to be completed reshaped or possible replaced. Also, they left many small pieces of cement or mortar on the grass in front of the porch.

The men worked very hard for 3 days --- it was not an easy job to waterproof our basement. But they did an excellent job and there has not been a drop of water in the basement since they completed their work.

They were able to add us to their schedule quickly, showed up on time, we’re clean and neat, and the quality of work is excellent.

I never received promised estimates for restoring and upgrading my chimneys/fireplace after having one chimney flue inspected last fall as a requirement before scheduling any work. This was true even after I contacted the company after a couple of weeks to follow up on my estimate requests.
I had previously felt there were communication issues with this company, which was a reason for not moving forward with desired fireplace upgrade before last fall's inspection.

Jamison is great to work with. There stucco crew did fantastic work and did a great clean up afterwords.

The first dehumidifier didn’t work, a smaller one than agreed replaced it and I still have to use another dehumidifier that requires daily manual disposal of water. It still smells too. The chimney cleaning was fantastic.

Jamison repaired a small Crack in our basement concrete wall to prevent water infiltration. They were very professional and timely. We were very pleased and they issued a lifetime warranty.

The crew from Jamison did a great job waterproofing several areas of the basement. I no longer have to keep the wet/dry vac at the ready whenever rain is forecasted! They arrived when they said they would, finished the project on the timeline I was given and did a great job cleaning up.

The whole process from the estimate to the completion of the work was done very well. They explained how and what they needed to do and offered different options for each part of the project. I am very pleased with the results and will continue to use them in the future.

I needed my chimney cap replaced after a storm this fall. I called Jamison and they sent someone out to see what was needed in one day. The work was completed 2 days later. Great service. I loved the 2 men that came to do the work, they explained everything to me and were able to discuss another issue with my chimney, giving me ideas and advice for a totally unrelated problem, I intend to call them again when I need one of their services.

Would highly recommend. High wind damaged my chimney. Called Jamison on recommendation of a neighbor. After a couple phone conversations and emailing pictures, Jamison quickly had a repair plan and scheduled repairs. Showed up on time and completed repairs efficiently and effectively.

Scope of work given to you before the work begins. Start time coordinated through a knowledgeable manager. Craftpersons were on time and courteous. Work was completed expeditiously and in accordance with the contract.

I had the many peeling cement spots scraped and filled in my 100 year old basement. Then the walls were sanded and a finished coat was placed over the work. It started as a mess and ended looking amazing. Lov and Pablo did an amazing job and were polite, quiet and non-intrusive. I'd hire them again for any other work that needed done.
