Paran Homes

Paran Homes was founded on the belief that the key to success is through delivering superior value to every customer by offering high quality homes at affordable prices in some of Metro Atlanta’s most desirable locations.

The President of Paran Homes is David “Butter” Smith. Butter has over 20 years of experience in the homebuilding industry in Atlanta. Before establishing himself as an independent homebuilder, Butter held senior level construction positions with some of metro Atlanta’s largest homebuilders.

Butter studied Construction Management at Georgia Southern University and landed his first job with Louisiana-Pacific designing floor systems. He later transitioned into the new construction home building business in Atlanta.

Homebuilding slowed in 2008, and in a post-recession market Butter saw an opportunity. A combination of well-priced lots, quality materials and a quality builder prompted the birth of Paran Homes. “I realized with lot prices so low I could build a quality home and offer it at a price that Atlanta has not seen in well over a decade.” Since 2010 Butter has established himself as a trusted, quality homebuilder in the Metro Atlanta area.

Paran’s communities are strategically located to lie in close proximity to major highways, shopping centers, and great schools – all features that are considered when thinking of prospective homebuyers. A Paran community also hosts incredible amenities such as swimming pools, tennis, and clubhouses equipped for family-friendly functions.

What is this?

What is this?

We display two types of written homeowner feedback on GuildQuality member profile pages: Comments and Reviews.

In response to our customer satisfaction surveys, homeowners share lots of comments about construction quality, communication, or any other question asked in the survey. Guildmembers can selectively publish these comments here on their profile page.

Reviews are different than comments. These are star ratings that homeowners ask us to publish, and they come with a written description of the type of experience they had working with their contractor. We publish all of the reviews we receive: positive and negative alike.

Answers from contractors near Duluth, GA

Is painting bathroom tile a good solution for tile that is in good condition but not a desirable color?
Feb 24, 2014
Where is the tile, John? If it is on the floor or anywhere near bathroom moisture, painting is probably not the best solution.
What are the most cost effective things I can do to improve my home's energy efficiency?

I would start with making sure your attic has adequate ventilation.
