Likes & Dislikes - I love so many things. Our designer gave us ideas we hadn't ever seen or thought about. We went with some of those choices and they are some of our favorite things about the house - island with seating at the end for example. I love that we can trust the work that was done and the people who did it. That matters more than any feature in the house. What do I dislike? Not much. It's unfortunate that in any remodel you will encounter feasibility issues along the way with some elements of design and have to make adjustments. That would happen on any major project. I dislike that those adjustments are necessary but I think ValEquity managed those discussions extremely well and helped us make choices that preserved the same feel of the original design.

Recognized Excellence - Scott Shambaugh was with us every step of the way. Always there to fix what needs fixing and make our new home great. And installed so many balusters. He's like family now. Just ask Carmen. Clayton was always plugging away at the job with a friendly smile. Shannon and his team did a fantastic job with the paint and finishing touches on the stairs. Ron and Mike really kept good communication going on and off site. We always got quick and honest answers to questions and concerns. Roger runs a tight ship. I trust his business judgment about what is reasonable. He dealt with us fairly when we encountered the unexpected, and when we made a couple of change orders.

Ron is a fantastic project manager and does a wonderful job of keeping us informed and everything running smoothly. The workers are all so friendly and professional. We appreciate the workspaces being clean and tidy and safe when we stop over (sometimes kids in tow). We are halfway into the project and can hardly wait to use our new Kitchen and baths. The new spaces will make a huge difference in our day to day lives. They really listen and deliver!
