The items that need fixed still have not been completed. The manager keeps stopping my husband to tell him he will get to it.

The sale man was more than helpful went out of his way to show me guide me on what I needed to do.

It is an affordable home that is set up to make it your home. It is a blank canvas. There is no design, so it is set up to make it your home.

I was working with starlight homes to get a loan with them. I was already approved with another company for a VA loan I wanted to put $down on a home they told me to wait a day to see what they can do for a loan because they were offering a lower interest rate and paid closing costs. I went in the next day to put down earnest money and they already had someone else. So instead of getting the 1600sq ft home I wanted I ended up settling for the 1400 sq ft for the same price. The one I wanted they had a special price and they would not honor the same price for another 1600 sq ft.

I am satisfied with everything.

Due to being a new build, there were some delays in closing, but my salesperson Haston, was consistent in communicating updates and answering all of my questions during that time. Construction Manager, John, was extremely thorough during my final walkthrough and ensured that any issues were corrected before closing, going as far to notice the small details that I didn’t. My mortgage lending team, Niki and Rob, were fabulous as well. With as many loans closing in such a short period, they were efficient, knowledgeable and made me feel as if I was there only loan. The overall quality was good, some of the finished carpentry such as door hanging, paint, and finishing of the baseboards were not what we would have expected. The quality was lacking somewhats in those areas.

Starlight offers sizable homes for market prices though the construction and quality are questionable. The sales team (Chris Goodsell!!) was awesome as well as the construction manager...but the builders clearly rushed through the process and there were many unnecessary / unsightly mistakes. Building materials and paint also leave much to be desired. Starlight definitely has potential but has missed the mark in quite a few areas.

I went to a few different builders DR Horton, lennar, check out Mungo and my realtor referred me to check out Starlight. After getting payments and interest rates and down payments from multiple places I was very impressed with how much lower the monthly payment and interest rate and down payment was over here at starlight. Also from the other places I have seen I do believe the quality is a little nicer here and seems like the customer service is top notch. HOA has not been an issue as it's the first one I have had and everyone here seems really friendly so glad we choose starlight.

My home-buying experience with Starlight from the time I entered the sales office to present day has been exceptional. My salesperson, Caleb Young, was very knowledgeable and helpful. Without his encouragement, I would not have even tried to purchase a house as I was convinced I would never be approved for a mortgage. The construction manager, James, not only made sure my house was ready when I closed, but also gave me pointers during my walk-through to ensure I knew how to maintain the home. My experience with the lender, Robert Reid, and his assistant, Zoe, was also great. I appreciated the frequent communication about my loan application. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised at how smooth the whole process was. I have been in my home for about 6-7 weeks, and I love it! I have no complaints at all. Thank you!
