They did an amazing job in a very timely manner.
I would not recommend Mihalko's. Our experience with them has been awful. There is actually too many things they did wrong to mention with our roof job. Now as of yesterday, one of the skylights they installed is leaking and out of warranty by 2 weeks; not that that is a factor, because I would not want them on my property ever again. They are the most unprofessional carpenter/contractors I ever saw. I am not an expert putting on roofs, but some of the things they did even I knew were wrong. There were things I pointed out to them that were wrong and they fixed them, but if I was not there observing I believe they would have been done wrong. Some things were done wrong - to numerous to mention. Yes, they were pleasant and courteous, but grossly unprofessional in their work including clean up. Very Disappointed!
It was a rough start to the day with the basement flooding, tough day at work, and my daughter's birthday. the team at Mihalko's came in and saved the day!!! cleaned the mess and let all their equipment there over the weekend (stopping each day to check) to make sure the basement was completely dry and safe. thank you!

Area Of Satisfaction - GOT THINGS IN ORDER IN SHORT ORDER OF TIME.
In the event of a catastrophic situation it’s nice to know you can always depend on your trustworthy insurance agency to have your best interests. Nothing against my agency or policy, the damages from a faulty heating system caused unfortunately resulted in a total loss of my property. However, when I requested the local restoring company and I could provide the phone number for contact, I get Mihalkos showing up because they were informed they were chosen for the work involved, against my authorization. These pictures show the work that was started, only 3 days, before Allstate declared the property a total loss. The damages from their bill was more, in my opinion, than the damages of the house. $11,000. ELEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS for this minimal clean up. When we spoke with them inquiring their justification and an itemization for such a high amount, asking if it was that total for the entire house l(because it clearly was not ALL restored), not just 1 room, the answer after the gentleman laughed at us was, they were there for 5 days. No they were not. 3. When asked how they can take advantage of an elderly handicapped individual, how can they sleep at night and take the at much money, we do not understand how their industry works. Really? He did explain how he and the Allstate adjuster ‘knew each other personally’ and did take off $3000, to be fair. And expected us to be ever so grateful. So there you have it. Again, my opinion, do not use their services and expect not to get ripped off. It’s very sad to have had this happen. All the way around.

They did a resteration after a fire and they through out things they should not have. They should have allowed me to pick up my thing first.
This was our first experience with any type of home disaster. The crew from Mihalkos were very professional and completely and thoroughly cleaned the smoke and soot from a kitchen fire off of every single item affected. They did this while complying with our request to adhere to COVID-19 safety protocols. Our kitchen was restored to look better than it was pre-fire. We would recommend them to anyone who needs professional cleaning help in an emergency.

I have yet to receive a list of items that were salvaged from my home. My insurance company and myself have contacted Mihalkos several times and have not received a response. I would love to know what I still have. We lost almost everything in a fire and don't feel that we should have to fight to find out what was saved from our home.

Mihalko's was great. They were helpful and professional from start to finish. They took all the stress out of a big project. The craftsmanship and attention to detail was really impressive. I would absolutely use them again (and I will) for our next renovation project.
