The salesperson was pushy. The scheduling was atrocious. It took them seven or eight months, and then they showed up unannounced.
LeafGuard was very professional.
For numerous reasons including extremely poor and careless workmanship (with cursing due to worker frustration from a steep gazebo porch roof gutter install that the salesman & install mgr. should never have ordered in the first place); to the install there we weren't informed would be the ugly result with very visible long, silver nails & very noticeable, uneven wedge heights that includes a useless one that swings from side-to-side; a gap about 1 1/2" wide by 3-4" high that allows roof rain to pour in and leak causing wood rot; to the impossible fascia "fix" that would only work in theory due to bad & uneven wedge installation, require fasteners into gutters making holes that would promote leaks, and have noticeable black fasteners against white; plus a low gutter end away from a downspout where rain would accumulate rather than drain. When we asked the Gen. Mgr. to remove this fiasco & give us a refund, he refused. So we still see the ugliness. Also from the roof DISH satellite, installers left a previously unseen black DISH cable hanging & very visible against a white downspout & gutter on our 2-story home. They made several large scratches on gutters. They made about a 5" scratch on our black railing that they covered with green paint. They knocked a hummingbird feeder off the shepherd's hook. They broke a hanging flower pot on the porch that the General Mgr. said he would compensate for with a $25 Visa card that we have never seen! We found several metal pieces in bushes near the house. At the outbuilding, had my husband not noticed installers would have failed to add black extension drainpipes to the downspouts. He also saw that the removed drainpipe from a corner downspout would not have been replaced for underground drainage. These are most of the issues. If you check the Better Business Bureau website, you'll see a LONG complaint list about the Leaf Guard branch which we'll add to. I've been a homeowner about 50 years (having bought this home from a previous owner 8 years ago) and this is the absolute worst experience we've ever had with a so-called, well-known business. This highly unprofessional Chattanooga branch should not be in business with the current management. It appears bonuses are more important than proper, acceptable customer service.
They were good people to work with.
The value of the product is not immediately realized. We could have installed competitive products for significantly less money. This along with overtopping has left me somewhat disappointed with the purchase.
System works great but communication after the install and resolution very poor
Local company still has not responded to some simple fixes. It is clear they only want the money.
LeafGuard of Chattanooga has an excellent product. The workers were very reliable and on time.
Though they did a good job, I would have to warn of the cost.
I'm not crazy about it because it's noisy.
They did a good job.
If I had it done again I would use LeafGuard again. They did a great job.
I have been well pleased with them.
Employees are chronically late, don’t communicate about being late, and over-promise/under-deliver. This is, by far, the most expensive product in the gutter market and isn’t worth the money. I have a neighbor who stopped by and told me they had the same experience and would have warned us to stay away if they had known we were considering the product.
Downspouts suck
The quality is superb if you don't mind paying a but more. But, you get the life time warranty.
Very good product but very expensive
They have a quality product that works!
I had a few issues and when I called them out to have it resolved they did so very quickly and they were very pleasant.
We had a lot of difficulties getting everything right. It was a very difficult and frustrating process.
I was happy with the way they did everything.
I had a horrible experience with the gutter guard placed on my front porch. The roof is steep. They placed two vents the first time. It came a heavy rain a couple of days afterwards. The water just poured off of my roof, not going into the gutter. I sent them videos. They came back out and placed a couple of more on the other end of the porch. Those failed also. They wanted to place a downspout on the other end of the porch, but it was impossible because there wasn’t one there in the beginning because there wasn’t anywhere for the water to go. After that I was fed up with the company. They haven’t even followed up with me to see whether it was working or not. So I am very disappointed with your company.
salesperson was very informative and patient. explained everything and answered all questions. the installers were very professional and worked well together.
The LeafGuard Team did a wonderful job replacing my tornado damaged gutters! They provided all of the needed information for my insurance claim - including photos and detailed information of the repair required. The installation team were prompt, thoroughly explained what they would be doing and cleaned up everything before they left. I would highly recommend LeafGuard!!
We are very satisfied.
