If I recommended Kroll to a friend, I would have to tell them about the poor cleanup job that was done. The work performed was great, but I was left with a mess on my property when the work was finished - many nails, pieces of shingles, cut pieces of metal, gutter spikes and cigarette butts. I would only leave it up to the friend to decide if they wanted to risk having garbage left.
The job manager from the office had to come out personally to finish picking up the garbage left, this was after 2 days that the work was finished.
The problem I had is there was no communication before any construction took place. Their employees just showed up without calling to do the work, so that is my main concern.
Workers were polite. They cleaned up after the job well. But communication was poor I felt, when presented a ongoing problem after the new roof was put on. The last time they were here and attempted to fix my problem, they did not let me know they were leaving, and just left me hanging. As to what if this didn't work, who to call, assure me they would check back with me, check and make sure what they did corrected the problem I was having. Nothing. They were just gone and I did not even know, to ask them those questions. I felt they should have talked to me themselves about these things, before they left. I just felt left hanging. So I am reluctant to recommend them, I would be very honest about this with anyone who asked.

The construction crew was very professional. They explained everything including their time frame for completing the roof. Their prep and clean up was perfect. They were recommended to me by a neighbor and I would certainly recommend them to others.

They should inform or show people the work that has to be done before adding a charge. They did not do that for me and it was very devastating. It was an 800$ charge at first but they took a 100$ off. 700$ additional on an already expensive job. I guess it is what it is.
