I came home one night after a 12-hour shift at the hospital, and it was raining in my bedroom. A large tree limb fell, punched a hole through my roof, and let in the rain from a strong storm. The rain soaked through the insulation in the attic down through the plaster ceiling in my bedroom. Dynamic was the first to respond when I called. The owner, Jason, came out lightning fast. He helped remove the limb and took pictures to show me the extent of the damage. Within hours my roof was properly tarped and scheduled for repair. Their coordinator, Stephanie, helped deal with insurance company while I fixed up the inside. Working with Dynamic was a smooth and easy process the first time around. Their online portal helped me keep track of my project, and their rapid response time and saved me time and money on additional repairs and cleanup.
Several months later Snowmageddon of 2026 came, a catastrophic event. This area was hit hard with snow nearly two feet high. I thought we made it out unscathed until I felt water soaking the upstairs carpet around my windows. Water came through the walls and around the windows in multiple rooms. I checked my attic and there was no hole this time, so I truly did not know who to call. On a whim I called Dynamic, if nothing more than to get a referral to the correct professional. As it turns out, disaster repair like this was also in their wheelhouse. They came out and confirmed the worst- ice damming. Being from South Jersey, I had never heard this term before, so Jason took the time to break it down for me and explained the areas of my home that needed repaired or reinforced ASAP and how to prevent this from happening again. While I was not thrilled to hear the full extent of the damage, I appreciated the honesty, the thorough explanation, and the reassurance that we had a solid plan.
Shortly after our conversation, the workers at Dynamic came out in the freezing cold and helped to remove some of the snow and ice from the roof and gutters to lessen the damage and prevent more water from coming in. They worked so hard and were polite and respectful. Ace took ariel photos of the roof for me to submit to the insurance company. Jason linked me to a trusted electrician to repair the fan in the attic that could better regulate the ventilation and attic temperature, and I will consider a passive ventilation system like we discussed in the future. Once the ice melted, I could see that my gutters had split and warped in many areas from the ice expansion. The damage was so significant that rain would pour from the holes like waterfalls and pound at the windows and ground below. Dynamic was able to remove and replace my gutters in a day, and we are in talks to address more repairs soon.
No homeowner wants to hear that their home has been badly damaged in a weather emergency. Prioritizing repairs can be tricky and confusing, but Dynamic was able to lessen my mental load by providing thorough explanations and quick repairs. They also offer financing on larger jobs, which will be useful in the future. It is a long road ahead to get my house back in shape after this winter we had, but I’m glad the Dynamic was there to quickly pave a way forward. I will not forget that.

Communication on the job site must be improved. The project manager should arrive first to the job, introduce himself to the homeowner, ask about any concerns, all BEFORE the workers are allowed to start work. Issues discovered during the job, rotten wood, etc. should be documented and revealed to the homeowner before repairing them. Issues discovered after the job is completed, especially shingle misplacement, should be revealed to homeowner BEFORE YOU UNEXPECTEDLY SEND WORKERS BACK UP ON THE ROOF. The lack of communication creates mistrust between homeowner and Dynamic Roofing.
