I would recommend the company but I would definitely include a qualifier speaking about this most recent experience.
I think it was just the installation process. It would be hard for me to put my name behind something and tell a friend to go with them after they left a big mess behind and bodily fluids on my walls and property.
I really liked the scheduling it was really on-time and based on what we agreed on.
They were very professional in the work they did, and receptive to any concern that I had.
Three different people or crews failed to count and measure my windows correctly. I signed a contract for a high quality of windows, only to have to go with a much lower quality when it was discovered that the original sales person, with whom I signed the contract, didn't count 10 windows and failed to account for the quality of glass required in stairways. That mistake was detected by a second person, which prompted a crew of three people to come out and re-count, re-measure, and get me to sign a new contract for a lower quality of windows (designed in the 1950s, some 60 years ago). When the installation crew came, they were lacking 3 windows and the windows for the attic were all the wrong size. I was promised the lacking windows would be installed within two weeks. That was a month ago. The person who answers the phone is always polite. How much is that worth to you? The siding looks great, but I had to call when pieces started falling off, and I recently detected an area where it doesn't abut properly to the side of a doorway. You don't deal with Champion. They're just the sales people. You deal with subcontractors, many of whom, if my experiences are any indication, can't count or measure, even when they bring laptop computers and helpers with them. Don't use this company. They promise more and deliver less.
I would never recommend this company to anyone ever. We had nothing but issues and problems and the entire project was a nightmare.
Do not choose Champion for any of your future projects. We were sadly disappointed. They also have horrible customer service.
The salesman I would recommend, but he does not work at Champion any longer. Because of this reason, I will not go back to Champion.
They are not customer friendly at all.
If you are willing to pay extra for a high quality 3 season room and aren't worried about any kind of timeline as to when the job will start and how long it will take to finish...then give Champion a go!!
Top shelf all the way....
Awesome professional job ty
Great quality windows!
I'm not sure.
They did a very nice. Very timely and good quality.
I had a tough old house to put siding on and Tony is a masterful genius. I'm a contractor and I know he did a great job, he stuck with it and treated the house like his own and that's a testament to how good of a job he did.
Communication on status of job was poor. Subcontractors for cement pad were not timely or professional.
I was very satisfied with the job and how everything looks and functions!
Champion found an opening a day earlier and came and quickly installed 6 windows. They were quick and efficient. We love being able to open our windows easily and are looking forward to the energy savings! Thanks!
The salespeople were great. The workmanship of the guy who did it was not good. He ran out of caulk and went from blue to clear to white. There are different colors all around my house. It wasn't done right.
The work quality was very good. The workers because of the storm was stretched but they did the best they could.
I would like some follow up on issues.
I have recommended them to my son.
They were on time and easy to work with. Everything they did from scheduling to completion of work was great.
They installed a sun-room for us several years ago and we were very satisfied with that experience so we decided to choose them again to do our windows.
GuildQuality partners with it's member companies to survey their customers and collect detailed feedback on their behalf. By administrating surveys as an unbiased third party we ensure that customers have the oppurtunity to express their true feelings about a project and that members get the most accurate and detailed feedback possible.
When a survey contains the "Review" question, that customer's answer will show up on the member's profile page as a public review. Members have the option to turn off reviews but cannot hide individual reviews. It's all or nothing. This means that any reviews you see on a GuildQuality profile page are real comments left by the customer and verified by GuildQuality.
Each item listed under "Customer satisfaction" represents a specific question asked by GuildQuality to customers of Champion Windows of Rochester (Service Only) as part of our survey process. The bar graph and percentage next to the question stand for the percentage of respondents that were "Satisfied" about that particular question.
A customer is considered satisfied about about a question if they answered with 4 or more stars out of 5. For example if the "Communication" question is at 95% satisfaction that means that 95% of survey respondents answered that question with 4 or more stars out of 5 possible stars.More about surveys
