They failed to look at a completely open basement and do their due diligence before bidding on their work. They missed some obvious things that should have been seen and noted before they chose to knock walls.
The quality of the work was impeccable and the team members are professional, communicative, and kind.
We have used Case several times and we are always pleased with the work!
Our remodel took up a major part of our house. The crew left it cleaner then when they got there . Kept me informed on what was going on everyday and every contractor was professional.
Case has a professional front end to seal the deal and make the sale. Its all down hill from there. Most of the work is done by subcontractors and they're not the highest quality workers. I acknowledge that COVID created some circumstances that could have led to unfinished work or major delays which did not occur. So, I consider that our project was not terribly behind schedule to be of value. However, I identified several places in the work schedule - which I insisted on them providing, where an additional worker for outside trim or carpentry could have saved weeks. That was ignored and an unnecessarily long work scheduled was planned, which even then they could not complete on time.
Yes, I would recommend Case to anyone considering a significant renovation project to their home.
Every individual on the Case Team for our project was excellent. The project was three phases and was complicated, time consuming and required significant changes in our living situation. In spite of the demands on our household, the Case Team was always helpful, courteous and professional. They made sure that my disabled husband was comfortable and safe. The design team helped me pick out perfect products; the project manager kept on schedule, provided us with regular detailed updates and was always available to answer questions and allay concerns. The construction manager was very skilled, solved issues when they arose, and never disappointed us. It was a pleasure to work with this team.
We appreciated Case's overall professionalism and dedication to getting the job done right and well.
We did exceed our budget but that was primarily due to our requested add-ons in lighting, front door replacement, and full backsplash in the kitchen and a requested island.
The "post/beam" issue added costs and an approimate two week delay to the project, but it was resolved amicably and professionally.
Overall, we view the project as a success for Case and us.
Good outcome, but expensive and needed customer supervision.
Case Design helped us with an ADU in our back yard. While planning, permitting, budgeting, and building they were consistently awesome. Sometimes in life you get what you pay for, and it was certainly the truth in this circumstance. Their customer service and expertise are second to none.
They were ultimate professionals. We could not have asked for more.
I was happy with the project management, but not the finishing.
They are top quality.
It was a terrific experience.
Exceeded our expectations, Highly recommend!
Case Design and the entire staff were a pleasure to work with on our kitchen remodel. Our kitchen was completely gutted, the layout reconfigured, and in the process included several significant challenges for the trades. From our initial contact with Case right through to the very end of the project, Case’s professionalism, communication, reliability, and attention detail, were unsurpassed. Allie Mann, our designer, helped us through every step of the process from initial concept to a final spectacular, mid-century modern kitchen in keeping with the style of the rest of our home. We could not be happier with the Case team and their process. A very special thank you to Jim, Allie, Bruce and Roberto.
Case did a great job in revamping the exterior of my old house. The quality and the details of the work was excellent despite the difficulties in this pandemic environment. The staff and the crews are as always professional and customer oriented. I would highly recommend Case to my friends.
Good work but slightly more expensive than other contractors.
They are pricey.
I absolutely recommend Case Design Remodeling for any remodeling project. They have done five projects for us over the past 10 years and we are very happy with the result on each and the level of service we received.
From beginning to end the Case Team was very effective. Initial meetings with Colleen, Christine, and Adrian most effectively set the design and budget. Subsequent onsite meetings describe the process and prepared us for the construction. Case assigned Allan St. George to the project, who was an excellent craftsman who got thing done with high quality and in a timely way.
Case remodeled our kitchen this past year and we are absolutely thrilled! From the first design meeting to the final execution, we were totally impressed. They came up with a modern, innovative design (backsplashes that are windows, outlets that pop up out of the island), and incorporated all of our requests (an appliance garage, seating connected to the island) to make the kitchen both beautiful and functional. During construction, our team was on time, pleasant, and impeccably clean. While there is inevitably some construction dust, they made every effort to seal off our living spaces and clean up after themselves each day. Now that the kitchen is done, we absolutely love it and feel that the final product matches the 3D design we started with perfectly. Our team (Carolyn- designer, David- director, Stefan- project manager) was amazing from start to finish. Highly recommend!
Very pleased with the Case team from beginning to end. Delivered as promised which hasn’t been my experience with other contractors.
I would wholeheartedly without reservations recommend Case Design/Remodeling of DC.
Our construction experience was excellent; however the project development process had several challenges. I would highly reccomend Case but would recommend working with a different project developer and designer
Very pleased - project ran smoothly and was completed on time
