We have had Adams Architectural Millwork make replacement storm and screen combination windows for our two 1920's homes. The work is high quality, the windows are beautiful with attention paid to design and detail, and ordering and delivery was a breeze. We highly recommend Adams Architectural Millwork!
Excellent products and great craftsmanship. I was able to see all of their products and styles online and that allowed me to make informed decisions about their product line.
Adams Architectural the very helpful and creative in giving us the design we wanted.
Pure pleasure to work with on the front end of the ordering process. Windows arrived as scheduled. Product is everything I expected it to be.
A pleasure to work with the staff.
The product itself, a wooden screen door with a Gothic top, was well done. Initial communication was excellent. However, it took them an unexpectedly long time to provide the finished product and they did not provide updates. At one point I wondered if they’d gone out of business because no one was answering their phone and there was no voice mail available.
great work went together easily . still need 31 more windows
Great quality product at a reasonable price. Highly recommend.
Out of all the wooden storm windows manufacturer across America that I researched very carefully, I finally picked Adams. Angie the sales person answered all my questions and gave me hints of how best to install the windows. The final product came EXTREMELY well packed and delivered to our parking lot by a reputable trucking company on time as promised. I would not hesitate for one second to recommend Adams for both the quality of their workmanship and the entire buying and delivery process. Eric
I selected Adams Architectural Millwork based on their webpage. The pictures and reviews of their previous work helped me make my decision, I knew from there that they had a good understanding of historic buildings and that I would be getting good quality work.
Chad went over and above to make sure all of his measurements were correct. We had difficulty finding a craftsman who would take responsibility for them and who would actually install the finished product, so Chad made the hour long drive to meet and coordinate with him. Our home was built in 1866 and he created an exact replica of our existing deteriorated door that would fit into an 1866 door frame and the challenges that entails.
I had searched far and wide to find someone who could make an architecturally correct custom door. A remodeler had told me about your company.
Excellent customer service and willingness to keep at it to get things right. Great quality door.
They were on time and completed the order correctly the 1st time. Angie was great to deal with.
They made windows to my measurements. They look and work great.
I am pleased with the work and final product. Based on other purchases I felt that the shipping charges were a bit high. I would definitely use them again if I decide to have another window built.
Our neighbor had front doors made by Dubuque Sash and Door, which I believe was your previous name, and we liked the look and quality.
Quality of the work done (a wooden screen door) was excellent, and the pricing was reasonable. Communication was inconsistent: at times responses to questions were immediate but at other times I wondered if they had gone out of business (multiple emails not responded to). Tried to phone them twice; no answer and voicemail was not returned. Time frame was never discussed, so I did not know when to expect the work complete. I received notification that it was ready to ship just as I was preparing to ask for an estimated completion date (about 2 months after the signed proposal and 50% down payment were sent in). The quality of the work makes up for a lot, but it was definitely not the smoothest of transactions.
We needed to replace a large front window, with five individual units and a patio door. We had contacted several companies, but preferred the options Adams Architectural provided, both for esthetics and function. Our contact knew his materials and kept us updated on the replacement process, even helping coordinate the installation. It was not the least expensive option for window, but offered the best fit for our home.
We had a very positive and professional experience with Adams Architectural. Our storm windows are very sturdy and well made. They came in good time. They fit well and were easy to install. We are so pleased!
Excellent quality with great service.
Adams Architectural Millwork did a wonderful job of replicating our circa 1879 front door that was beyond repair. The quality and craftsmanship are outstanding and we could not be more pleased.
Great job with some storm window replacements for an older house. Thanks very much.
We are very happy. They are highly skilled and they have the ability to make glass in any window or structure. They are very talented and are a throw back of an ancient skill. The local reputation counts as well.
Adams Millwork took the measurements and found it to be a stock item, but not available immediately. When it arrived, I was notified immediately. They assisted with loading the window into my truck (which I requested). When I got it home, it fit perfectly and is a great improvement over the old window.
Adams Architectural Millwork is fantastic. They did everything they said they would do. Walter found me a door which I could lookout the window. I thought this went over and above.
GuildQuality partners with it's member companies to survey their customers and collect detailed feedback on their behalf. By administrating surveys as an unbiased third party we ensure that customers have the oppurtunity to express their true feelings about a project and that members get the most accurate and detailed feedback possible.
When a survey contains the "Review" question, that customer's answer will show up on the member's profile page as a public review. Members have the option to turn off reviews but cannot hide individual reviews. It's all or nothing. This means that any reviews you see on a GuildQuality profile page are real comments left by the customer and verified by GuildQuality.
Each item listed under "Customer satisfaction" represents a specific question asked by GuildQuality to customers of Adams Architectural Millwork as part of our survey process. The bar graph and percentage next to the question stand for the percentage of respondents that were "Satisfied" about that particular question.
A customer is considered satisfied about about a question if they answered with 4 or more stars out of 5. For example if the "Communication" question is at 95% satisfaction that means that 95% of survey respondents answered that question with 4 or more stars out of 5 possible stars.More about surveys
