The floorplan is very nice, the standard features are generous, and the design center is very good.
Have your own inspector come out. You will thank me later. I have videos and pictures of everything that went wrong.
Great homes, built great. Small things were left either unfinished or installed incorrectly. Other than pretty great work on everything.
Do not close until all the little things have been addressed. Sales will tell you they have 7 days. Production will tell you to show some respect because they have 60 days. Simply put, just pick another builder.
Our experience with TimberCraft was fantastic. They really listened to everything we wanted and we couldn't be happier with our home.
Lack of communication between account manager and superintendent caused many of our upgrades to be wrong or not get done
Beautiful design poor execution
Depends on what the friend is looking for - I wouldn't define this builder as a luxury builder.
Amazing experience working with Shawn and his team. I would highly recommend using Timbercraft. They're homes are beautiful and exceptionally built.
The rating has to do with the build itself.
There was a hole in the tub, the roof wasn't sealed, and the siding would knock every time it was windy.
We didn't get any sleep for a while with two kids, and it was miserable.
We had a big sewer leak when we first moved in. The sewer flap was broken, and they covered it with sod, so we had to dig it to find it. It was a nightmare!
It was put together really fast and there were a lot of mistakes.
Our paint job looks like it is crying. I guess it was raining when they painted, so there are streaks running all through it.
I like the design of our home, our aesthetic vision for it really came to life. The structure of our home is of great quality. The foundation, framing, plumbing, electrical and design of our house is great. The house is efficient. However, just to name a few concerns-siding is missing above our garage, paint missing in a few areas, grout missing on the kitchen backsplash, we have cabinets that are chipped, and cabinet doors that were screwed on extremely loose or extremely tight causing the cabinets to crack and when opening the door falls off. Although things like this may seem minuscule, given the investment, it would only be right if these details were given a little more time and attention. I dislike areas where workmanship seemed to be rushed through or neglected. At the beginning of our build communication was great. We received updates constantly. After this person left TimberCraft there wasn’t much communication and we were left in the dark for awhile. We had to go through our realtor to find out who was going to be our new point of contact. Even our realtor had a hard time getting information at times. We were left out of the loop more than what I would have liked. Even now that our home is done, there is a lack of communication of when items on our addendum will be completed. It was a sudden change but Corey did his absolute best to provide us answers to any of our concerns. TimberCraft Homes (OK) could use some work on staying organized. Our closing date was moved an excessive amount of 4 times. We were put in a very tough spot on the financial side of things because of TimberCraft’s lack of organization and scheduling. When this was brought to their attention they refused to take any responsibility.
TimberCraft Homes is a new generation of homes- beauty and size. They put everything standard and the rooms are special. Everything is really nice and the staff is so good. The outcome of the building is fantastic. I love TimberCraft. They are so unique and special!
The home buying process went very smooth and they were attentive to details.
The experience was somewhat smooth overall but not without hiccups or communication breakdowns, which is to be expected during a homebuilding process. There were, however, moments and situations that could have been handled with more tact and thoughtfulness or incidents that could have been avoided completely with more care and planning. We never achieved a level of comfort or ease at any point during the process which definitely detracted from and soured some of the overall experience. That said, we are happy with the design choices we made and the look of the finished product.
Since I moved into my place, the items I have marked down for needing repairs still have not been fixed. It’s going on to 7 months and I still have not heard from anyone about fixing the items.
The company builds the house really fast, and they don't really assure the quality of the house. For the amount of money it is not worth it. You are supposed to submit work orders on the website if you need an issue fixed, and the company keeps canceling the orders saying it's already been done.
The overall experience was a nightmare therefore I will not recommend Timbercraft Homes. The day I was moving in my stuff the neighbor came to me and said to expect a nightmare. The process lasted for so long.
They were very accommodating, they were always easy to reach out to, and they answered any questions. If they did not know the answer they always got back in a timely manner. All around good it was a great experience.
I would not recommend a TimberCraft to a friend. The experience of construction Nextdoor was beyond miserable with numerous cases of property damage on top of utility lines being cut seven (7) times. Driveway was cracked by large trucks using it as a loading ramp, side yard destroyed and never repaired, digger ran into side of the home damaging brick (still not repaired). Lied to multiple times by the superintendent to the point where it is worthless to talk to him.
GuildQuality partners with it's member companies to survey their customers and collect detailed feedback on their behalf. By administrating surveys as an unbiased third party we ensure that customers have the opportunity to express their true feelings about a project and that members get the most accurate and detailed feedback possible.
When a survey contains the "Review" question, that customer's answer will show up on the member's profile page as a public review. Members have the option to turn off reviews but cannot hide individual reviews. It's all or nothing. This means that any reviews you see on a GuildQuality profile page are real comments left by the customer and verified by GuildQuality.
Each item listed under "Customer satisfaction" represents a specific question asked by GuildQuality to customers of TimberCraft Homes (OK) as part of our survey process. The bar graph and percentage next to the question stand for the percentage of respondents that were "Satisfied" about that particular question.
A customer is considered satisfied about about a question if they answered with 4 or more stars out of 5.
