We hired ReCraft to finish part of our basement into a bedroom for our daughter, who previously was sharing a room with her sister. It's certainly possible that we could have completed the project for cheaper, however ReCraft offered tremendous value in the following ways:

* The project was completed on the schedule that was presented to us at the very beginning of the process. Work proceeded at a constant cadence, and we always felt like our project was a priority.

* Communication was impeccable. While there were a couple small change orders that ended up increasing the budget very slightly (less than 5%), even the possibility that those changes might be necessary due to discovered circumstances were communicated to us, so there were no surprises.

* The work was top rate. The ReCraft team did a fantastic job, from the design to the project management to the actual workmanship. This extended to their subcontractors for demo, drywall, painting, electrical, etc. Everyone on the project worked hard and did good work.

* Everyone on the team was very professional and friendly. This again extended to the subcontractors. It was an 11 week process, and in some ways was unavoidably disruptive, but the team made it as painless as I can imagine it possibly being.

The end result turned out beautifully, and my daughter is thrilled with her new room. In many ways we feel like we got 2 rooms for the price of one, as now each of our kids has their own space that they enjoy being in. When we hired ReCraft, we also priced out a design to finish the other half of the basement, and we're looking forward to working with them again in a couple years on that project.
