We have the firm background in all aspects of designing and also construction so we are experts in project estimating and building both larger and small projects.
Call us and we can chat! After we visit your home, discuss your expectations and determine quantities we can give you an actual budget that we do want to stick to. The Design Diva does not like change orders or adding money to the project. We want to establish a budget with no supprises. After the materials and scope of work is finalized we can finalize the installation contract.
We are a smaller design build firm with Melodie Schooley, AKBD & allied ASID certified. She maintains her continuing educational units and takes a personal interest in all projects. Hide

Overall our experience was positive and we love the remodel. Everything is beautiful. I give 4 stars because the project dragged out at the end. I really liked working with Melodie and her crew. I also like that she invoices as she goes. So even though the project went much longer than I would have liked, I didn’t feel angry that I had given her money up front and she didn’t show up to do the work.

Melodie was great to work with and I loved her ideas for the design and style of our project. John and Shawn who performed the work did a great job. They were easy to work with and treated our project as if it was being done their own home. They communicated well and made sure we were happy and also did a great job cleaning up each day. We love our new backsplash and fireplace and we high recommend Pittsburgh Design Diva!

We were very pleased with the work that was done. New backsplash and a new shower stall was installed. The backsplash and tile in the shower is perfect. Liz was a big help in our selection and handled everything efficiently. Could not have asked for better workers than Brian, Shawn and John. Their work was excellent.

We used only PDD from beginning to end of this project. We needed to have a wall taken out and a doorway installed in it on short notice. PDD handled doing the on site inspection, estimate, negotiation for contract, planned work and some unplanned work all within the needed time frame. The new doorway is gorgeous and blends seamlessly into the rest of the area. It looks like it was always meant to be there!
