Recognized Excellence - Dean Armstrong followed the project every step of the way -- and he responded to our needs and the Architect's needs quickly and efficiently. AND Jason Whiteman is a miracle worker. No one working on the project ever seemed rushed or slacking off -- but all the work was done in an excellent manner and ahead of schedule. There was some considerable initial concern about executing such a major project at an elementary school in session in the middle of a pandemic. But everyone on the project worked assiduously to minimize any inconvenience or annoyance.

Additional Comments - Usually on a project this size, there are residual issues or bad feelings or regrets. "If only we had known..." "I only wish they had..." kind of issues. There are absolutely none of that -- either during the project, shortly thereafter, or now -- some years later. The project has been an immense benefit to our Quaker Meeting and the Quaker elementary school with which we are strongly affiliated. Most of the project areas are used daily -- and they show no signs of wear whatsoever. You've got a lot of friends at West Chester Quaker Meeting and West Chester Friends School. (I've got a considerable number of "Before" and "After" photos I'd be delighted to share!

I had a very good experience with Pine Street Carpenters. I left for the winter while they re-modeled the kitchen. I trusted them to keep my house safe and clean until I came back. When I came home I had a brand new kitchen except for the stove which took almost eight months! (Not their fault) They provided me with a substitute oven which was greatly appreciated because I had family staying for a month. I am happy I chose a local company who did their best to please me!

I felt comfortable with the people in my home each day. They were on time, clean and efficient. No time was ever wasted. We plan to use Pine Street for future bathroom renovation because now we know, they are simply the BEST!

We used Pine Street Carpenters to completely remodel our master bathroom. We were completely satisfied with our experience - from the design phase with Dana to the actual work done by Tommy and his crew. The work by both Pine Street and their subcontractors was meticulous and the job site was immaculately clean at the end of each work day. In addition, they completely discussed any issues that came up as the work progressed, and suggested many design changes that worked out perfectly.All in all, we were completely pleased by our experience with Pine Street. We hired Pine Street Carpenters for a Kitchen/Laundry/Powder rm reno that covered almost 1/4 of the house while we were over 1,000 miles away. We were leaving our home for two months in the hands of the many people it took for this major renovation but after meeting owners and staff it became pretty clear they would take special care and they did. No 2 would be communication. Pine St Carpenters helped create the kitchen, living room and dining room of our dreams. My wife is a professional chef and she now has a kitchen worthy of her skills. Accross the board, everyone we worked with was fantastic. They took the time to explain everything to us before, during and after the project, and were there whenever we needed help. Everyone who's walked into our house since completing the project has been amazed at the transformation of our home, which is now open, inviting, functional and much more structurally sound than when we first moved in a year ago. Pine Street engaged us early at a time when our dreams of renovations were just images, clippings and intentions. Areas Of Satisfaction - Their engagement in the design of the house was the most surprising and ultimately the most satisfying aspect of our project. For example, we discovered potential in the structure we didn't know about from the beginning (a vaulted ceiling from a crawl space; dramatic beams that became both features and then accent molding; old brick left exposed in a corner as an accent and reminder of the rougher history of the house in the otherwise opulent kitchen). This kind of creative partnership was terrific.

While our new kitchen and laundry room have been completed for a few months, Pine Street stays in contact with us, ensuring that any issues that may arise are taken care of.

Areas Of Satisfaction - Satisfied with the overall experience. The professionalism of everyone that worked on the project was wonderful. Going through a huge project (for us) was a little stressful, but once the team was working and so available for questions, our stress level was minimal and it was a very smooth 6 weeks. Another area of satisfaction was the cleanliness of the project. At no time was there dirt/dust throughout the rest of our home. Walls taken down, windows filled in, rebuilding walls. The rest of the house stayed clean with no dust anywhere.

Over the next few years we followed Pine Street via their website, Houzz, and Facebook and watched their projects. When we were ready for our project, we knew who we wanted to work with.
