They're just the best! I even recommend them to my family. They have to be really good if you recommend them to family.
My air conditioner unit is old but they still did the repair and it was for a great price. So far my air conditioner is working but I know it is an older unit if someday I need it replaced I would use James A. Wheat and Sons.
They always do outstanding work for me.
Even though we are new customers, they made sure to come out right away on an extremely hot day to fix our air conditioning.
We used them for 20 years and when the airconditioning went out in July, they did very little and were in no rush, so I switched from them.
They are the most respectful company I have dealt with in 36 years.
They are prompt, professional and polite. They are however expensive and their hvac service contact price increased dramatically in one year so this year they broke it down into different contracts you can purchase. Unfortunately the only contact worth purchasing ( which includes cleanings and inspections and used to be part of a standard contract they offered that cost half the price 2 years ago) is the super expensive one. I’d recommend their answering a specific plumbing or Hvac need but not their service contract.
We're extremely pleased with the service James A Wheat & Sons provided us throughout the entire process of replacing our furnace and outside AC. The staff was professional, organized, and communicated every detail from the first phone call until the units were installed.
We called them to come fix a problem. They gave us a date, pushed out a week and a half, then gave subsequent dates that weren't met due to shipping and tracking etc. Ultimately didn't get fixed for three weeks past scheduled date.
I had some squirrels in the attic and they ate up a bunch of stuff on my condenser and the man who came out was straightforward and took the time to talk about it.
I am not very confident that they can do the job efficiently.

The other companies would tell me that I need other things and I didn't need anything else. They corrected a tubing issue I had. Other companies wanted to sell me a whole new system. James A. Wheat & Sons cleared the tube by untwisting it. It was on my humidifier. I like the time and attention they give me.
They came out here and took care of an emergency need quickly.

James A. Wheat & Sons, Inc came out that evening and stayed quite a while longer than I felt the company should have. The first contractor couldn't get the air conditioning unit to run properly and never finished the job. The company had to send out another contractor to complete the job.
