Colvin Kitchen & Bath

We have proudly shown our new bathroom to many friends and recommended Colvin K&B. One neighbor may redo their bathroom based on what they saw of our new bathroom.

Clean

Andy covered everything in the adjoining room daily and carefully swept anything on the floor at the end of the day. Our carpet and entry hallway was also carefully covered daily.

Communication

Andy always told me what time he would arrive the next day and he was very punctual.

Quality Of Workmanship

All work done by Colvin staff was done very well.

Problem Resolution

There was a blemish on our quartz counter top. Colvin assessed the problem and contacted the quartz counter representative. A service person from the counter company came and tried to fix the problem, but it is still visible. Unfortunately the blemish is right out front on the counter and in the very center so it is easily seen. Although small, we know it is there and we're disappointed. Quartz counter tops are very expensive. You don't expect a blemish in the product when delivered. This really isn't Colvin's problem, it is the quartz company's problem.

Professional & Organized

Andy always had the materials and equipment needed on a daily basis to do his job. At the end of each day, he took all debris away with him and cleaned and organized the area in our garage where he worked.

Schedule

The schedule was 2 1/2 to 3 weeks. It took just 3 weeks, but would have been done earlier had the installer's father not have died during that time. We totally understood. The schedule was still met.

Sales Knowledge

One suggestion for Josh or Julie when they are talking with new customers is to alert them to all the things they may have to change in a bathroom if going from polished to brushed stainless fixtures. We loved the look of the brushed stainless and ordered it. We planned to replace the towel bars and toilet paper fixture ourselves which wasn't a problem. We didn't think the whirlpool tub fixtures would be that noticeable if we didn't change them to brushed. But when the project was near completion, we wished we had replaced the tub fixtures. Then we learned it would be cost prohibitive because of our tub plumbing setup. In retrospect, we probably should have chosen the polished stainless although the brushed is beautiful. Just educating new customers about these types of things would be helpful.

Recognized Excellence

Andy, our installer. He lost his father during our installation, yet he remained professional and kept communication open with us about when he needed to be away from our job. Colvin also had another person come help with our job so the project stayed on schedule. Julie also was patient as we made our decisions and helped us with design decisions

Just wish we didn't have the blemish problem on the quartz counter top. But this wasn't Colvin's fault.

Design

The tile design is beautiful! Andy did an excellent job of placing the tiles. We're very happy with the final product.

Guy Colvin came to inspect our project when it was finished. He found a couple of minor things that we would never have noticed. They weren't to his standard and he had the items quickly fixed. We were very impressed with Guy's final inspection and action. I doubt many companies offer this standard of service.

I had a very good experience. I am well satisfied.

I felt that from the time I meet with the salesperson to the owner that everyone was interested in how happy I was with the install.

Our kitchen remodel is wonderful. The quality and value are perfect. The sales staff, installation, and follow up personnel were very courteous and helpful.

The shower surround is beautiful! Jeff is more of a perfectionist than even I am and our project turned out better than I could have imagined. We were on a very strict timeline and Colvin worked with us all along the way to make sure we stayed on schedule. We are very pleased and highly recommend working with Colvin.

Every part of our project start to finish was handled professionally. Will use Colvin's in a heartbeat on our other bathroom remodel. Could not be more pleased with the finish product.

Complete cleanup every night. Nothing was left in our way at night or over the weekend.

Most probably the design aspect. Josh walked my wife thru the process and was quick to offer ideas when we were not sure of what layout we really wanted.

there was a miscommunication between Colvin and the template person so that the backsplash initially was not the right height. Colvin agreed quickly to fix the problem and within three weeks the backsplash was installed at the correct height. Other than the small delay the kitchen counter and sink install went very smoothly and I like the new countertop and sink and the professional way everything was handled. Excellent!!!

Overall, a wonderful experience and an outstanding Company to work with.
