Sanding gets gooey
So every time I sand a surface that has primer and paint, the two seem to melt into a gooey mess. Right now Im painting a red door. When I sanded the first layer of red before adding the second layer, certain spots would turn into pink goo balls. I can scrape it off but this leaves a hole in the primer. Any idea why this is happening? And also, what's the best solution for fixing a hole in primer? I tried adding more primer, but that left a very noticeable outline between the layers. Spackle seems to work... but im guessing thats not what I should be using for exterior applications. Any help appreciated! Thanks
