Whitmire Homes Inc

You may or may not have the perfect plan when you first visit Whitmire Custom Homes. Whether you have several ideas you’d like to incorporate into your new home, or you simply know the style, rooms and size you want, we can get you started on a custom home that suits your budget and your lifestyle. We also have a portfolio for you with a variety of tried and true plans for you to browse. Any of the plans can be personalized with your design changes. Our team of building professionals will meet with you on your building site for a lot evaluation. Lot design and site prep is a significant part of building cost. We will consult with you regarding the layout and placement of your home while considering landscaping and lot usage, view enhancements and soil erosion. We will then guide you through an initial selection meeting to organize your thoughts and ideas. This process allows us to begin a preliminary proposal. It may take several rounds, but after final reviews and/or changes have been made, we will provide a fixed-price bid with accurate detailed specifications. Every detail is itemized in your proposal to prevent any questions or confusion during construction. This is a timely process up front but, eliminates any unforeseen costs which can be so common in construction.

Building Process We anticipate and accommodate for all permitting and site preparation. Communication and understanding are key to helping the project go as smoothly as possible. These are two major elements that assist in the building process after contracts are signed. We take a personal hands-on approach to each home we build. Scheduled meetings and on-site walk throughs with our sub-contractors and suppliers keep you in the loop on the progress of your home. When the final touches have been put on your home we schedule a final walk through, which serves as an orientation to the mechanics of your new home as well as final observations of each room.

If you're interested in turning your dream home into a reality, we're here to help you make it happen! Contact us to learn more about working with our experienced builders at Whitmire Custom Homes.
