Star Builders LLC

Jason Robertson, Owner - As owner of Star Builders LLC, Jason Robertson's background in construction started under his father’s supervision for Colson and Colson construction. Jason worked as a journeymen’s helper for almost every trade throughout the building process, from the concrete to the roof and everything in between while growing up. At the age 21 Jason decided to service his country and joined the United States Marine Corps. In 1997 Jason returned to Oregon and worked as a department manager overseeing the operations of a manufacturing plant located in Corvallis Oregon for 10 years. During Jason's venture through life he wanted to complete his education and in 2007 graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Management. Since then Jason has been putting his business and construction experience to good use building custom homes, remodeling and commercial projects.

What is this?

We display two types of written homeowner feedback on GuildQuality member profile pages: Comments and Reviews.

Comments

In response to our customer satisfaction surveys, homeowners share lots of comments about construction quality, communication, or any other question asked in the survey. Guildmembers can selectively publish these comments here on their profile page.

Reviews

Reviews are different than comments. These are star ratings that homeowners ask us to publish, and they come with a written description of the type of experience they had working with their contractor. We publish all of the reviews we receive: positive and negative alike.

Answers from contractors near Amherst, OR

How can I Mount a TV with a two column brick fireplace?
Apr 7, 2020
I would build a stud wall and get rid of the recessed niche. Once done you will have plenty of support in securing the TV mount.
Can you install wood planks behind a range (similar to shiplap)? If so, does it have to be a certain type?
Oct 24, 2017
I wholeheartedly agree with Susan, wood behind a stove is a safety hazard.
