Stanley Martin was founded in 1966 by Martin K. Alloy, who passed the helm to his son Steven B. Alloy in 1998. Martin K. Alloy continues today as Stanley Martin's Chairman, and Steven B. Alloy as President. Martin K. Alloy succeeded in creating a dynamic organization that combines the entrepreneurial spirit and vitality of a local business with the strengths and economies of a large, stable corporation. As a locally-owned company, Stanley Martin strives every day to create housing designs and communities that will have a positive effect on its surrounding neighborhoods.
