Wilhoit Renovations

These homeowners had been in their home for about 20 years and had decided they wanted to make some major changes. The original master bathroom was an awkward arrangement including an unused tub and a leaking shower. There was also a room over the gargae that consisted of a series of cut-up small rooms - also an awkward space. Outside, there were a series of mulit-level decks that made negotiating around the rear yard and pool a difficult task. Our plan created a new and open master bathroom with wardrobes replacing a walk-in closet, dual back-to-back vanities, and a large walk-in shower - all created within the footprint of the original bathroom. The room over the garage was re-arranged so that a new media room was oriented toward the rear yard with marsh views with an enlarged laundry room and guest bathroom faced the front. The multi-level decks were removed and replaced by a new, expansive deck with a pergola and grilling area. A new walkway to the pool and patio with fireplace were added to create a perfect, year-round outdoor living space. The homeowners now have comfortable interior and exterior living spaces that are a destination for family and friends alike.
